Satisfying Local Dining experience

As a local as complaining the quality of local restaurant, I found this lunch buffet very satisfied.

The hot dishes consisted of a few LOCAL , CANTON FOOD ( 廣東菜 ）。

If I have a friend from abroad, I will take them here .

I took 3 bowls of it . Highly recommend

Sweets / Cake / Cheese / Salad

They offer a collection of cakes. Of course it’s not perfect , but I am surprised with the choices here.

05 Oct 2019 因家人預祝生日，又見到金域假日酒店的西餐廳做緊龍蝦任食自助餐，而且白金信用卡有八折優惠，那就做booking一試，到了下午六點進場，馬上試下各種龍蝦，覺得煮得太熟又硬，其他食品也一樣，先前意為厨師煮得差，每樣試小小就算吧，這真是第一次，我吃自助餐通常一開始每樣試小小，因為唔合胃口就不用浪費，常到合胃口便再取多一些，這次取食物第一次，便不會再拿第二次了。

06 Oct 2019 第二天和家人聯絡，才知怪錯了㕑師，根本是食材出了問題，有機會過期或已變壞，所以要煮到過哂時間，所以出現太熟太硬，昨晚食完自助餐各自回家，大家都痾了兩至三次。

小弟不是貪平，衹是意為尖沙咀經常有暴亂 ,去支持下這些商舖，我了解食市小人幫襯，食材自然沒那麼新鮮，但不要做沒良心的生意，現在衹是肚痾幾次，下次有人食物中毒那就不好了。

I am writing to express my disappointment about the dinner buffet I had in your hotel on 5th October !

I got to know the buffet promotion for lobster and i thought it would be nice to celebrate the birthday with my family member, so i made the reservation for dinner buffet for 5th October.

We arrived at 6pm and started our meals! We took different type of lobsters for tasting, but all of us found the lobsters were over cooked or kept too long long after cooking ! They were not fresh at all ! We stopped eating the lobsters after the first round tasting !

As a branded hotel, we never expected such low quality of cooking technique!

We found the worst situation on the next day, as I experienced a stomachache at night time and started to have diarrhea. Then I called up other family members who had buffet with me, I found all of them had the same problem as mine !

This is totally not acceptable! Seems the food we had during the buffet dinner were not clean and we got slightly food poisoned !

We fully understood the current situation in HK and we do wish to give our support even there was riot at TST. We decided not to cancel the booking and to support restaurant, however, if your hotel is not able to keep the food standard, then I think you should honestly tell the customer and we can decide if we still wish to have our dinner at your place ! It is not good to sever the food not upto the standard for customer.

Definitely the best part of a stay at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile is breakfast @ Bistro. Granted expectations have been well lowered by the rest of the experience at this far below average hotel. Was very pleasantly surprised to find a nice variety of offerings. Temperature and quality of buffet items are good and the chef's refill rate was also very good. Nice tasty, refreshing breakfast experience. Also service was friendly and helpful, unlike at most other locations...
