I stayed at 3D Inn (Romance) for 8days/7nights for a business workshop. They have a storage unit at their lobby where guests can leave their stuff while waiting for check-in time. ||||3D Inn is located inside the Mirador Mansion. It was the perfect location for me, just a two-min walk to my destination, with restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets around. ||||My room, 3D Inn (Romance) is small and has the basics - a double bed, airconditioning, a small cabinet by the bed, hair dryer, flat screen TV with a few English channels, toilet and bath (hot and cold shower, soap in a dispenser also provided). A bath towel, including a small bar soap, toothbrush and toothpaste are also handed upon check-in. The room was clean when I arrived and I didn't have my it cleaned during my entire stay as I was only there during the night to sleep. ||||Outside, there is a small refrigerator and a hot and cold water dispenser (both are free of charge and for sharing among the four rooms). There is also a landline phone installed outside the main door, which you can use to call the lobby at the 13th floor.||||Since I was checking out early morning of the next day, they also gave me my deposit back the night before and still let me have the keys (I just left them in the room before I checked out).||||The only downside I would say are the elevators at Mirador Mansion, which are shared by all the inns/hostels/hotels and residents. They will test your patience as they can usually carry up to 8 or 9 pax. Also, there are only two elevators, one for even-numbered floors, the other for odd numbers. If you have an appointment, make sure to get to the elevator early to give yourself...
Read moreThis was the worst hotel booking experience I’ve ever had—and I travel often. I flew into Hong Kong from Manila, landed around 10 PM, and got to this place by 11:30 PM. Despite having a reservation, the hotel was closed. Honestly, that was a relief.
The area was sketchy from the start—everyone there was from different countries, speaking English, not Chinese. Walking into the building felt like stepping into a chaotic flea market—people sitting around, selling random stuff, and eyeing you like a target. It didn’t feel like Hong Kong; it felt like I’d entered some low-budget movie set.
After figuring out how to even reach the hotel, I found the elevator, went up, only to find the place locked down like a prison—reinforced doors and all. At that point, I had seen enough and made my way back downstairs. That’s when random guys started approaching me, aggressively offering to sell me a room: “Come up, check it out, if you don’t like it, no problem.” Super sketchy.
I tried to call an Uber, only to find out that Uber doesn’t pick up where it drops off due to a restricted red zone on the street. I had to walk several blocks to a McDonald’s, grab a meal, and finally get an Uber back to the airport—just to feel safe again.
Avoid this place at all costs. I don’t care how cheap it is—it’s not worth your peace of mind or...
Read moreI was deceived by the hotel photo shown when booking. I booked a big room, but they gave me a small room, which is very dishonest. If you want to stay in this hotel, please think carefully, because their room facilities are not good at all.
First, I booked a room online. When I checked in, I found that the room was very different from the room photo I saw when booking, and there was no window. I asked the hotel staff, but they said our room was assigned according to the requirements.
Second, there is too many dust on the air conditioner and exhaust vents. The dense dust looks like it has not been cleaned for many years, and it is so dirty.
Third, the TV is not functioning and cant turn on.
Fourth, the bed lamp is very worn out. It only has a weak light and no use at all.
Fifth, the toilet flash has problem also.
Sixth, one of their cleaning staff opened our room door without knocking. It was very rude and frightened us. Moreover, I was not wearing pants and how embarrassed at that moment!!
The only good thing is this hotel located in good location which near the MTR station.
If you want to stay more comfortable, you may consider to choose another hotel in the...
