This was hands down the most appalling dining experience of my life. I visited this restaurant with colleagues, ordered five lunch sets, and nearly finished my meal when I discovered a filthy fly stewing in my soup —proof their kitchen’s hygiene is a joke. But the true outrage? The staff’s shameless gaslighting.
When I refused to pay for my insect-riddled dish (my colleagues, bafflingly, still paid theirs), the server accused me of planting the fly myself. Let that sink in: They implied I carried a fly to sabotage my meal. As if anyone would endure this cesspit of a restaurant for fun! And if the fly “magically” flew into my bowl after serving, doesn’t that condemn their dining area as a breeding ground for pests?
Instead of accountability, they demanded proof the fly was there all along—absurdity at its finest! I was too revolted to finish my meal, let alone accept their half-hearted offer of replacement soup. Who could stomach more of their negligence?
No apologies. No dignity. Just a server who barked “MOVE!”at me like I was a nuisance when fetching the manager. The manager begrudgingly removed my dish from the bill, but the server’s sneering contempt lingered. Not a shred of remorse for serving me bug soup or their abysmal conduct.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like a criminal for pointing out their filth. The arrogance is staggering, the hygiene nonexistent, and the staff’s hostility? Unforgettable.

There's really nothing recommended since they're all amazing. However it can be a bit pricey. Location is also very convenient, just a 2 minute walk from the nearest minibus and bus stops and less than 1 minute walk from causewaybay MTR. The atmosphere is relaxing and it is very neat and clean. However the only issue I've had was the service. The service was very poor and staff did not care much. They missed orders, took extremely long and we had to wait over an hour for the pancakes because they forgot about it. It's not that poor, but it definitely isn't the best. It was a great experience and i would highly recommend it but just to note that there's also lots of other substitutes which can be...
Read moreI truly enjoyed myself during my visit, especially since they have a promotion running on Mondays where the ala carte menu goes for 50% off, which makes the meal very worth it.
I really enjoyed the spread of the menu, and to be honest, I didn't know what to order. We ended up with the marinated pork ribs, and the pork belly, a pancake, and the beef glass noodles; with 2 bottles of beer to go alongside.
The pork ribs were super tasty and yummy, and I highly recommend that. The glass noodles too, but the portions are a little huge so be careful. Pancake can be a hit or miss, but the ingredients and size make it worth the value. It's very huge too. The pork ribs go well as traditional Korean BBQ, with the vegetables and sauces on the...
