STARBUCKS Empire Centre Shop — Restaurant in Kowloon

There is a Starbucks at Empire Centre in TST East next to the side street entrance and 711 convenient store. Opening hours 8am to 11pm daily.

This is a typical Starbucks, you can order standard coffee and iced coffee drinks and expected range of over the counter foods. They have just a few seats near the counter. However, there is a larger seating area just inside the Empire Centre open foyer area for Starbucks customers.

During a recent visit, I had a HK style curry chicken puff and double espresso. The espresso tasted just like those served up in all other Starbucks in the city. The chicken puff had decent flaky crust with decent filling, not something I'd target for a nice meal but certainly good enough for a quick, reasonably priced lunch if you want something fast and on the go.

Note: For those interested in trying something more local, just around the corner at Empire Centre, there is a small locally run coffee shop called Black Sugar. Coffee is pretty good and over the counter food items better...

Almost everyone knows what Starbucks is about. Their beverages are good but no better than other renowned coffee outlets, the coffee is usually down to each other's preference. The atmosphere here is relaxed and usually have adequate seatings. Beverages were nice and hot, however, when one of our party spilled a drink, we asked one of the staff to wipe the table of the spilled drink. A young man did came over quickly, and it took him twice to fully cleared the table. I mentioned about the wet floor, he muttered something and did not return to wipe the wet patch, which made one of the party sat quite uncomfortable because she did not want to step on the wet spot. Starbucks is world-renowned! Who hasn’t heard of it, tried it and not become a life-longer? I love visiting locations around the world! You can experience a variety of items that may/may not be at your local favorite store! This particular store is small, BUT it’s inside a large building with ample seating if you just walk through. The baristas are friendly and helpful; a Starbucks standard taken to heart. My drink was made correctly, even though it’s not my go-to-drink at my home store.
