Had spent a quality brunch time at this petfriendly restaurant
Chef's Antipasti
A colorful & inviting first dish to stimulate the appetite, gorgeous and entertaining presentation of these antipasti started the beginning of our coming feast. Fresh & premium ingredients included salmon, beef, mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, potato salad, cured meats & crunchy vegetables. What an artful appetizer to share among friends
Premium Choice +HK$38 AHI Seared Tuna▪︎w/avocado cream & cress
A good valued add-on appetizer. Made w/high-quality tuna steaks, these deep red raw flesh were tender, oily with a mild flavor; a few drops of lemon juice and creamy avocado puree just blown away my taste buds
Deep-Fried Sole Fillet▪︎Semolina crust tarter sauce
Don't judge a book by its cover. This dish might look bland, but it tasted 100% divine. Fillets were cooked to perfection, texture was delicate and smooth as silk, very fresh with slightly sweet flavor. Filmsy fry batter was coated perfectly on each fillet piece to ensure the meat stayed juicy & tender, & their housemade tarter sauce did boost the dish to another level
Lamb Stew▪︎served w/garden vegetables
Lamb cuts were well prepared to tenderize the meat & moistness had been preserved. Outstandingly seasoned to mellow the strong & wild flavor of the lamb. All those fresh vegetables were astounding
Lemon Sorbet with Fresh Fruit Salad
A refreshing way to cleanse my palate after a power lunch. Tangy flaky snow had a natural sweetness, with all seasonal fruits such as pineapple, papaya, dragon fruit & strawberries, this is the best dessert suitable for any time of the...
Read moreI used to love this place, so much that my husband and I went there for our anniversary before. Service was great too. A few days ago I entered alone (around 7pm-ish) by myself after a long day. I was half jokingly asked if I came alone, whether the staff should join me. It was all good until I heard from the side another staff laugh and say either the guy’s single, or asking if I’m single. I didn’t bother to turn around to see his face. This was 7 pm and very early during the evening. And I was there to dine. I left soon after a very greasy vongole pasta meal because I was confused by what I had just heard, just for attempting to dine there alone.
Then today, my family with the baby stopped by. I actually didn’t want to initially because of my experience a few days ago, but it was still an option for us. Seeing our baby and even upon being asked for a high chair, another staff offered us an high bar table on the side of the restaurant, and the baby would absolutely not be able to eat there. The restaurant was half empty with normal height tables available and baby chairs stacked up and available. We are extremely disappointed, and will never be returning. Staff really...
Read moreOne of the worse restaurants I ever been in HK, please make yourself a favor and try to avoid this place. We went to their New Year’s dinner and booked 2 weeks before for its privilege location and terrace to see the fireworks. When we arrived they were trying to charge me 650 HKD for corkage fee instead of the 275 previously agreed, I had to talk to the manager in order to keep the price previously agreed. But probably the people that didn’t know where charged 650. 8 course meal of 989 HKD per person, in which probably 2 dishes I was able to eat, the rest I couldn’t finish I was scared to get sick the food was not tasty at all, I would have preferred 3 really good courses instead of all this food that was wasted. Service was slow, there were not enough waitress and people in the kitchen to provide a good service to all tables. If you are thinking about booking here because it’s location let me tell you that their terrace is not private at all, people from the outside can get in and just stand up to see the fireworks while you are eating your food and don’t let you see.
Sadly but this has been one of the worse places to eat in HK; expensive, abusive, bad service and...
