-Today I went to have lunch in Tsim Sha Tsui, and suddenly it started pouring rain. Luckily, the restaurant was close to the MTR station, so I didn't get wet. The restaurant is located in a mall across from Tom Lee in Tsim Sha Tsui. I used to go to Tom Lee all the time, but I never ate anything here before. I only remembered there was a Sam Gor noodles here, but indeed there's also a Japanese restaurant. -Food: The lunch set has a wide variety of options. The menu includes beef udon, katsu pork, grilled beef, sushi set. Because it was too hot outside, I wanted something cold, so I ended up ordering a sushi set. The set included ten pieces of sushi and one tamagoyaki, plus a bowl of udon and miso soup, and a cup of coffee or tea. Everything was typical and unremarkable. I think Kyosasa on Ashley Road or Zanbaka, which is a bit further, are better choices and cheaper. -Environment: The seats are spacious, and there is plenty of space between tables, so it's comfortable. The service is also good. -Conclusion: The bill came to around $180, and I don't think I will come back again. ๐Ÿœ๐ŸŽ‰ Kichi: A Slice of Japan in Tsim Sha Tsui! ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต๐ŸŒ† ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธWandered into Kichi in Tsim Sha Tsui and it was like a mini trip to Japan! ๐ŸŽŒ This time, we skipped the sushi and dived into their cooked dishes. Every dish was a flavor party โ€“ think ๐Ÿคค delicious, authentic, and just plain yum. Surrounded by Japanese locals, we totally felt like we were in Japan! ๐Ÿ—ผ The vibe? Very relaxed and friendly. ๐Ÿ™Œ The staff made us feel at home and were super helpful. If youโ€™re craving some real-deal Japanese food, Kichi's your spot. ๐Ÿฒ Can't wait for round two!

Authentic dishes which were so delicious that I went twice in the same week. Recommended: marinated aubergines with grated yam (tororo), deluxe sushi set, Seafood Nabe (for 2 will feed 3-4) grilled pork teppanyaki with cabbage (optional: served with chilli paste added to the oil as dip). Oden- amazing.. only thing I didnโ€™t like was eihire (grilled dried fish fin) which was a bit wet and fishy, not crispy. The sochu choice was good but cocktail sours were so-so, sake choice OK, decently priced
