Vietnamese Crab Meat Vermicelli - $98 This dish is packed with vibrant flavors, featuring vermicelli stir-fried to a perfect dry texture with bell peppers, minced pork, crab roe, bean sprouts, and scallions. Every bite bursts with the fresh essence of crab, evenly infused into the noodles, making it a flavorful and satisfying dish.

Minced Duck Lettuce Wrap - $78 A unique twist on the classic lettuce wrap, this version uses minced duck instead of the usual chicken, pork, or beef. The duck's aroma shines through, complemented by beans and chopped cilantro for both texture and flavor. Be warned—it’s spicy! For those sensitive to heat, have a drink ready to cool things down.

Thai-Style Roasted Spring Chicken with Lemongrass Rice - $188 This standout dish is a must-try. The spring chicken is beautifully roasted, with crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat. Inside, it’s generously stuffed with fragrant lemongrass rice, which is aromatic and perfectly cooked. Boneless and easy to eat, this dish delivers both convenience and indulgence.

Coconut Ice Cream - $38 An ideal pairing for the spicy dishes, this sweet and creamy coconut ice cream offers instant relief with its rich and refreshing flavor.

Fresh Coconut Water - $45 A crowd favorite! Many diners order this coconut drink, so it’s best to place your order early to ensure availability. Refreshing and naturally sweet, it’s a perfect accompaniment...

A south eastern Asian restaurant takes 5 minutes from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Mainly serving the Thai food, with some Vietnamese food. Have to point out that this restaurant is Usually crowed. You have to spend plenty of time to wait for the seats and food, especially in weekend.

Tom Yum Soup are spicy with flavor of various spices and served with pot on fire which can keep it hot for a period🔥 The sourness and the flavor could be more intense.

The curry soft shell crab with curry, the expected taste of spices in yellow curry doesn't come out well. The amount of carbs is generous. If they can use some bread with better quality, it will make every one feels better that the bread is not just a container of the dish😅I think everyone ordering this may expect the bread can match the curry inside with similar quality.

The coconut juice is average, nothing to mention🥥large is always better.

Overall, this restaurant takes us around HKD$200 per person without feeding us full. But with this price point, it deserves with the location, food quality, and price tags. However, in Kowloon City and other places, you may have a better quality with...

Waited 50mn to get our soup! We asked 4 different waitresses, nothing changed! Of course no one apologised, the only thing we got: 2 waitresses pointing us, saying « Tom Yum soup » and laughing at us! We have been to this place around 10 times : food is always good, service is worse and worse !

Tried again on Friday 19/05: the attitude of the “manager” is very inappropriate! Our table was dirty: still have rice of the previous customer! He changed my set but left the rice on the table: he didn’t clean the table ! We asked 4 times to change the table , he refused 4 times! And he lied ! He said there are reservations but no reservation signal on table: people had exactly the same ticket as us when we were queuing! AND he always answered in a very angry way and finished by ignoring us !!!!!!!!!!!! I better understand why the service is horrible when I see the attitude of their supposed “manager”. They are not waiters ! They are just people who bring plates on tables like robots without thinking anytime of treating the...

Nestled in the basement of East TST is a Thai restaurant that has quite the vibe and potentially... Canto influence. The food was delicious (not Thai spicy), servers were attentive, and the restaurant was spacious. I was surprised by others who reviewed this as a mediocre restaurant, because I enjoyed my time here! Perhaps, the devil is in what you ordered! We had: Satay skewers - solid chicken satay skewers with the sauce. Pomelo salad - super refreshing, loved the extra nuts, which gave it a nice crunch + the sharp taste coming from the red onion slices. Soft shell crab curry - yum! It was deep fried to perfection, dunked in a yellow curry, where the vessel was a bowl of bread. Super creative and fun. Ragan - beef stew, which goes well with the additional roti we asked for, which arrived in 3 minutes, so our food wasn't cold by the time we got to enjoy this combo. Fried green sprouts - never had them before, but it was like a green spaghetti texture in the mouth, which I loved.

Sun Thai is a pretty good Thai restaurant with a few branches around the city including this centrally located spot on Carnarvon Road in TST. Opening hours are 12pm to 11pm daily, they are quite busy during peak dining periods so be patient if you want a table or be ready for take-away. We recently did take-away from this Sun Thai branch. Everything was predictably good. The Green Curry with chicken tasted nice, chicken was tender and curry just a tad bit spicy and of good flavour. Minced Pork and Basil rice dish was fine, less enjoyed their their minced pork & basil salad order, which is more flavourful. Mango and Papaya Salad orders are always very good with fresh ingredients and vibrant, sweet and spicy flavour. In the end, beyond a couple of preferred places in Kowloon City in our Little Bangkok area, Sun Thai is a solid choice, food is better than you'd expect and consistently good.
