Slash Cafe Bar — Restaurant in Kowloon

Slash is a combo of coffee and alcohol, morning as cafe, night as bar. There’s also a greyish cat around the shop, you can play with her if she has interest in you😂 The toast is inexpensive and surprisingly huge. The toast is embedded with cheese cubes, making it savoury, but then the toast itself is sweet so it is a sweet-savoury combo. The toppings are a thick slice of tomato, scrambled eggs and half of an avocado. The eggs are totally cooked but still soft and fluffy while the avocado is soft and creamy. Such a bargain when the whole toast is only $68. On the other hand, the carbonara is a bit disappointing. The cheese and yolk flavour isn’t as intense as it should be. The tomato on top is also pretty distracting as carbonara should not have any tomatoes😂 Coffee are pretty interesting as well. Unlocked another daytime coffee nighttime bar place!! This time we arrived Australian-style 𝙎𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙃. It has a simple and modern deco, with the high ceiling, is very relaxing.

👦🏻 picked 𝑨𝑽𝑶 𝑵 𝑬𝑮𝑮 , it had tons of avocado on it, and yum with the sunny-side-up’s egg yolk🤪 Another dish we picked is 𝑪𝑰𝑵𝑵𝑨𝑴𝑶𝑵 𝑨𝑷𝑷𝑳𝑬 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑪𝑶𝑵 , just because 🧒🏽 cannot resist on cinnamon apple! It tasted super perfect with the thick sourdough and cream cheese🤪 For coffee, we picked 𝑪𝑶𝑳𝑫 𝑩𝑹𝑬𝑾 & 𝑰𝑪𝑬 𝑳𝑨𝑻𝑻𝑬.

The coffee were in fruity taste and aromatic, and the sourness is super match with the sweet cinnamon apple🍎

Would not recommend visiting until the the shop figures out a system of managing their queue. While there were at least 4-5 tables waiting at the door, no one came to attend, and a couple managed to jumped ahead of everyone by squeezing to the cashier first and they got allocated a seat while we got asked loudly to continue waiting.
