Loving the aesthetics of this Japanese-vintage style cafe~
Their chiffon cakes were amazing!! I literally cannot decide which of the two I like better! Their chiffon cakes were so light and fluffy and the cake-to-cream ratio was perfect. They also absolutely nailed the flavours!
🥥Pandan Kaya coconut chiffon cake 斑斕咖央椰子戚風蛋糕HKD 60 💭I love their coconut cream and with that beautiful pale green colour and prominent pandan flavour, I am pretty sure they used real pandan leaves (I have tried pandan flavour extracts before and trust me it does not taste or look the same). It was honestly just a creamy mess of deliciousness! Solid 10 out of 10!😍
🍰Black sugar hojicha chiffon cake 黑糖培茶戚風蛋糕HKD 60 💭 I was surprised by how strong that hojicha flavour was, with just the right amount of sweetness and a bit of crunch!😋 Absolutely incredible!
So glad I finally made it to this adorable cafe😍 this place has been amongst my saved posts for well over a year😅 Will...
Read moreFunji is a neat little cafe and coffee shop on Maple Street just south of Boundary Road in the Prince Edward/Sham Shui Po area of Kowloon. Overall, Funji is a neat addition to the emerging cafe and coffee shop scene in Sham Shui Po. It is one of the more photogenic options in the...

The black sugar chiffon cake was really good, the cake was so soft and spongy and the layered cream was rich and have a really distinctive hojica taste.. i like it.. and i also love the canelè which has a caramelised crispy crust with a super soft vanilla flavoured custard cake inside.. 😋really curious on how they achieved 2 different textures in this small piece of dessert!
There’s actually more cakes that they offer specially that kaya flavoured cake i so wanted to try! and I can see myself coming back! 😍
However for the drinks, the latte and yuzu lemonade is ok but not the kind of drinks i would want to...
