// TAKANO - Tokyo’s Michelin Ramen 🍜 // . If you’re looking for a cozy lunch spot to hang out with buddies, look no further than Takano Ramen located on K11 Musea!⛩ A Tokyo-based ramen store that won over numerous people’s hearts for their delicious ramen and luscious Japanese eats!🍜 . ▪️Hiroshima Oyster Tsukemen Ramen▪️[HK$168] An exclusive cuisine featuring deep-fried Hiroshima oysters and Tsukemen.🍜 The golden-brown oysters were fresh and succulent while the ramen noodles were INCREDIBLY SAVORY after being dipped into the hearty broth made with pork, duck, chicken and fish, proving their rightful place on the Michelin Guide.✨ . ▪️Grilled Miso Cod Fish Set▪️[HK$188] Words couldn’t even describe how lip-smacking the miso codfish was!🐟 It was a mouthful of SATISFACTION for its aromatic grease along with the crispy skin and the soft meat, which goes impeccably well with every scoop of the rice. Perfection-guaranteed in this drool-worthy set!💯 . ▪️Creamy Croquette (3 pcs)▪️[HK$68] As the name says, these croquettes were made with minced crab meats and they were extremely CREAMY in texture!🦀 And was even tastier with the Tonkatsu dipping! . ▪️ Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings (5 pcs)▪️[HK$58] These tempting pork dumplings were unexpectedly meaty and succulent, and with flawless golden crisp and extra umami. Simple but yet irresistible!🥟 . ▪️ Shinshu White Grape Soda (240ml)▪️[HK$38] A carbonated drink made with 10% real fruit juice of Shinshu white grapes, rich and refreshing in taste.🍇 . ▪️Grape Juice▪️[HK$48] Fresh and premium grape juice made with Yamagata grapes, well-known for its sugar-free and preservative-free flavor.🍷 . ▪️Coconut Sorbet▪️[HK$68] Nothing’s more satisfying than topping off a great meal with delightful desserts. This coconut sorbet was presented in a cute little coconut shell, came with a rich coconut flavor and a smooth sorbet texture!🥥 . ▪️Peach Sorbet▪️[HK$58] A sweet alternative choice but not overly sweet, quite a tastebud awakening dessert for its distinct peach flavor though!🍑 . // 10% Service...

I highly recommend giving this authentic Japanese style Ramen restaurant a try.

Food: Gyoza - 5/5 - scrumptious!

Dan Dan Ramen - 3/5 - interesting combination of Sichuan Dan Dan spices with a hint of Japanese flavouring.

SPICY TSUKEMEN - 100/5 - this dish was truly the Star of the Evening.

If you like spice (and I mean real proper spice), then this dish is absolutely going to satisfy your taste buds and enhance your entire dining experience at Takano Ramen. It’s the kind of dish that has the perfect balance of flavours. 2 days later and I’m still thinking about. *view pictures attached for reference

Atmosphere: I loved the interior and the inclusion of plants in the restaurant immediately creates a relaxing vibe. Mind you, it’s a classy restaurant as well so it’s classy & relaxing which is a fantastic combination.

Service: The staff were lovely and accommodating. The way the tsukemen was served was quite unique - we were given instructions on how to best enjoy our tsukemen so I do recommend following the...

I ordered a Aguni Salt Tsukemen, Shoyu ramen and a order of Gyoza. Gyoza was served first, followed by the Tsukemen after some 15 minutes. The Shoyu ramen came last after some 25 minutes of waiting. When it arrived my partner was done with her portion and the Gyoza was already cold.

To charge a more than regular pricing for ramen you would expect that they would have the decency to serve everything together, hot.

Taste was nothing special, it did not have any oomph or punch to the soup base. Noodles texture was just right, bamboo shoots were great and did not have the taste of overly old shoots like many other ramen restaurants would have. Cha siu was nicely proportioned, good balance of fat and meat. Good size.

Overall it was only "OK" considering I did not have to wait to get in. Good for a first time visit but I doubt I would return.

-Eater of probably 5000 bowls of ramen...
