CUPPACOFFEE (Macau Peninsula) — Restaurant in Sé

CuppaCoffee is an expat favourite coffee shop in Taipa Village that opened up their second branch on the Peninsula last year. This second shop is located along Ave. Comercial de Macau, not too far from Grand Emperor hotel and Sintra Hotel. Opening hours are now 8am to 8pm (Mon-Fri) and 9am to 7pm (Sat-Sun).

The ground floor is quite small, just order counter and one small table for two. Upstairs, you find a larger seating space, tastefully decorated in the unban minimalist design with lovely pictures of the Angkor Archeological Park in Cambodia on the walls.

Coffee is pretty good at CuppaCoffee. I recently had a mocha, more or less a hot chocolate with hints of espresso. You can also order from a rather extensive food menu for such a small coffee shop or pick up pastries and other light bites from their pastry counters. Tried their pastel de nata (Portuguese egg tart) during my recent visit. Not one of my favourites in Macau but ok for an afternoon snack.

In the end, with the great many coffee shops having opened on the Macau Peninsula, the new CuppaCoffee branch is rather isolated, making it unlikely that most visitors will want to seek it out instead of trying other places closer to their hotel or near the UNESCO World Heritage area.

However, if you know CuppaCoffee in Taipa and simply want to find and try their new place on the Peninsula then go for it. You'll likely be just as happy with the coffee and foods here as you are about what is served...

I accidentally found this place, it is very well located in a cozy place in the center of the metropolis, the view would be even better if they washed the windows. The cutest thing is a shelf with books, but I came for the matches, and she turned out...
