When I arrived at around 1pm the restaurant was jam packed as the pics show. So I chose take out. The menu for the dumplings are easy as they have pics on the board and menu. No English text though. I ordered the prawn and veg/meat combo, as you see in the vid freshly being made in the compact kitchen. Both were delicious. Thin skins, great flavor with a lot of filling, crisp at the bottom, silky soft above and perfectly seasoned. Crazy taste sensation especially with the added sesame. It all combines to give you an amazing dish that will become addictive. Both portions in my pic for ¥43 is enough to fill me easily, excellent value too. Don’t waste your money at Michelin star restaurants. Try this.

Their crispy dumpling bun is awesome!! I recomme d ordering their pork fillings instead of their shrimps (somewhat fishy). They are very reasonably priced, superbly delicious and can be dangerously hot since most of the time it is served fresh from the pan. Eat with caution and dont be tempted to eat it all in one bite because it is seriously hot!!. Their fishball soup is also not bad. Overall the food gets a 4.5*/5*. The only thing i dont like is the overall cleanliness of the restaurants (alot of their locations have similar plight), there is this weird smell, uneasy "not clean enough" tables and seats...

Superb version of fried Xiao long pao. The taste is excellent with lots of juicy soup inside the dumpling. My personal favourite is the shrimp and crab meat, followed by the original yangs (pork) dumpling. You get to see them making the dumplings via the glass too. Easy for foreigners to order as they had English on the menu. It was so good, we ate in another outlet too! Yes there are numerous outlets all over shanghai . A must eat when in Shanghai ! Besides the dumplings there is also beef slices mung bean (tang hoon) noodle soup. That was ok too but the star attraction is definitely the fried dumplings!

Stopped by for breakfast as I found it on Google map and not far from the subway. I ordered 4 pieces of mixed pork with crab soup and prawn fried dumpling and a small chicken soup with wanton. The portion was huge and those dumplings were exceptional. Crispy outside, tasty soup and meaty inside. I couldn't ask for more. Perfect meal with a very affordable price. I'm a foreigner but very easy to order by using either Alioay or wechat to scan QR code. There was a live wanton making just next to my table. What a meal.

Favorite. The dumpling is half crispy at the bottom which is being fried, the skin of the upper part of the dumpling is soft, and the thickness is just right. They add sesame giving better aroma to the dumpling. The filling was awesome. Juicy and generous fillings. The soup inside is very hot, so beware when you eat. Bite a small bite and slowly drink the soup then only eat.

Read the hype and that’s exactly what it is. The horrible service by the staff made the whole experience terrible. Waited in line only to be cut in front of multiple times and with the cashier ignoring anyone that didn’t look Chinese only to be screamed at. Dumplings were bland. Stay away. There are better dumplings down the street and it doesn’t come with an attitude.
