Artesano 81 by Crepes & Waffles — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

We wanted to make a reservation for 11 people on a Sunday but they dont do reserverations so we went 40 minutes before our actual time to get a table for sure for our group. What we observed was a security man letting enter more than half an hour groups of 2 people to get a table while we were waiting outside, standing, with some children, without any attention. He did the same with the groups of 4 or more people. While the restaurant was filling up, it kind of occurred to us that we would never get a table if he would let in new people all the time. We adressed the waitresses but they didnt care a lot neither. We have been there quite a few times and always brought new clients but after that experience the ridiculous "waiting outside-policy" and horrible attention for loyal clients make us definately never come back ever again. We were already annoyed by all the dogs within the restaurant who are barking and frigthening elderly people and children. It seems like nowadays clients are less worth in Artesano Crepes&Waffles than the comfort of a dog. After 40 minutes we left and went to another place where the owners and waitresses welcomed our group with joy and open arms - what a difference! Therefore we cannot recommend the restaurant at all although the food has a good quality, but there are many other places where clients are actually treated...

Came here on a Thursday afternoon by myself for lunch and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. I got the salad bar (grande) for 29,900 pesos, you stuff as much as you can in the bowl. I would say it was worth it although I still felt hungry afterwards. The salad was good and fresh with a variety of toppings. Service is slow but that seems to be the case with all restaurants here in Colombia. I’d come back to this place and the regular Crepes & Waffles to try more things...

Sinceramente he ido muchas veces a este artesano, me gusta mucho la barra de ensaladas los platos son ricos sin ser algo que necesariamente supere a un crepes normal, pero si tengo que mencionar que el jueves de la semana pasada asistimos tres personas a comer y mi madre pidio un crepe de Estambul con todas las berenjenas durísimas no se dejaban ni cortar y realmente no era evidente desde el comienzo que las berenjenas estaban super duras tenían todas las cáscaras super gruesas y cuando les hicimos el reclamo en vez de ofrecer corregir el plato o cocinar más las berenjenas o preparar otro plato, la metre solo le ofreció a mi mamá darle un aderezo de yogurt con aguacate (???) cosa que no tiene nada que ver por que muchas veces cuando les pides si le pueden cambiar algo al plato te dicen que no se puede… pero si ellos hacen el plato mal si se puede? No nos agradó eso y decidimos no dejar el servicio a la hora del pago por lo que no lo cobraron y se disculparon pero realmente no es la forma, por qué si ellos usan malos ingredientes en un plato es de cortesía realmente ofrecerle al cliente que quiere hacer. Normalmente uno esperaría que te ofrezcan un plato nuevo y no te cobren por algo que está mal preparado. No me...
