Mis Carnes Parrilla — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I recently visited Mis Carnes Parrilla and had a mixed experience. While the food was decent, I was quite disappointed with the service and the billing process.

We ordered a steak and fish, but the server decided to add in topping we had not requested and did not inform us that these toppings would incur additional costs. As a result, our final bill was almost double what we had expected.

It felt like the server intentionally withheld this information, which is unacceptable and left a bad taste in our mouths.

Transparency is crucial in the dining experience, and being upfront about costs is a basic expectation. Unfortunately, this lack of honesty overshadowed the quality of the food.

Just a walk from my hotel. The place was clean and the people and service were friendly.

Auto menu items have photos so it was easy to order. Many of the words were in English as well as Spanish of course.

Prices were reasonable from 10,000 pesos, appetizers and the tomahawk steak was about 86,000 pesos which comes out to about 21 US.

Will order a variety of appetizers, beers and steaks for six people and it came out to about 150 USD.

The steak was definitely not prime cut but for the price it was okay. I order medium rare and it was cooked properly. Taste your steak before you had any salt.

Overpriced normal local food restaurant. Dishes are super expensive and quality is less than poor. Also this location is greatly more expensive than their other locations, god know why, but like MUCH more expensive. What I paid 22k in another location inside a mall was 39K here, almost double.
