I came to Bogota for New Years and was unaware that in Colombia most places close for New Years or advance reservations are required for the evening. My hotel closed everything! I had no place to go. I flagged down a taxi and asked him to find me a place I could spend the evening and get some wine and use a credit card since I was leaving early the next day and only had a few pesos left. The taxi drove me to various places and nobody would take me and I felt like the baby Jesus looking for a place to stay! Everywhere we went there was no room in the inn! I was about to give up and had resigned to spend the evening alone in my hotel room, and miserable, but the determined taxi driver tried one more place, called Tres Cuatro Cinco and even though they had a full house these kind and hospitable people found me a place at their quaint little bar with 3 seats and sold me a most wonderful bottle of wine. The bartender was amazing, I watched him work and he is a wonder working mixologist! The food looked amazing! To this establishment, I am forever grateful! When I come back to Bogota this will be my first stop....
Read moreAmazing experience! I absolutely recommend trying this place! I don’t write many reviews, but I had to take a moment to write this one. I am currently waiting on my meal but in the 10 minutes I’ve been here, I was already so impressed that I knew I had to write a review. The staff is so amazing and pleasant. Camilo, the owner personally came to my table to assist me in my decision of what to order. He was very kind and helpful as well as patient with me. My Spanish is horrible, but his English is perfect so he was able to help me. I was extremely impressed and grateful for the hospitality and him taking the time to describe every detail of items on the menu and he also mentioned exclusive items that aren’t on the menu.
The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. The cocktail was perfect. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a place this good! ...
