I recently stayed at Hotel Coco in Bogota, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The hotel is beautifully designed with a chic and modern aesthetic that immediately makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff at Hotel Coco were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment I checked in, they went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The concierge provided great recommendations for local attractions and dining spots, which truly enhanced my visit to Bogota. My room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest after exploring the city. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable. The hotel's location is perfect—situated in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to popular tourist spots and public transportation. I felt safe walking around, even in the evenings, which is a big plus. Overall, Hotel Coco provided an outstanding stay, combining luxury, comfort, and excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bogota. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to this beautiful city!

I really really want to give it a 5 star. However the front desk service was disappointing. I booked a suite 2 with jacuzzi/pool and arrived 2 hours before the check-in time. The front desk inform me the room's ready and if I would like to have an early check in. It's common that hotels offer early check in without additional fee, so I immediately said yes. Then the front desk asked how would like to pay the $176 for the 2 hour early check in... I ended up waiting 2 hours at the lobby until the exact check-in time, which is a new... (I've travelled to 55 countries and this is the first time I had to wait until exact 2PM to check in.) The room is beautiful and spacious. The interior design of the hotel is AMAZING. However, I noticed I don't have much toilet paper left in the room. I asked the front desk multiple times if I could have a new toilet paper roll delivered to my room. After 3 days, I didn't receive any... I had to buy my own toilet paper in the pharmacy. The jacuzzi/pool was hot and nice. The hotel breakfast offers good latte and hot omelet. The fruits are delicious and fresh. Overall I had a great time.

The staff are definitely extremely friendly and willing to help, even if there is a langue barrier. The hotel has a lovely dark aesthetic, and I loved the scent that the main lobby had. Design of the elevators and rooftop was lovely. My favorite part of the hotel however, was the breakfast! It was delicious and fresh with a huge assortment of fruits, and the eggs were made just right all the time. The only downside is that the rooms are SMALL, and the walls are thin. My family and I were talking at regular volume when another guest knocked on our doors and asked us to keep it down at 10/11ish pm. Definitely not a problem, but it was absurd that they could hear us as we all speak on the softer side. I also at some point could hear the other room showering which was strange. Also, not a fan that the showers don’t have a handheld part? This is a great hotel in a safe neighborhood to stay IF you are a solo traveler, or perhaps with one other person. Rooms are quite literally HK or smaller sized. Didn’t book the pool suite so I can’t speak for those.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my terrible experience at this so-called "4-star" hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is far from the quality it claims to offer. First off, the room was tiny—honestly, it felt more like a jail cell than a place to relax. There was no room to move around, and the layout was cramped and uncomfortable. Not at all like the pictures of the rooms they show online. As for privacy, forget about it. The walls were paper-thin, and we could hear everything going on in the hallway and next door. People showering, talking etc. To make matters worse, we had personal items stolen from our room. After noticing the missing items, we reported it to the hotel staff, only to be met with indifference. The receptionists were not only unhelpful but also unprofessional. They actually laughed when we expressed our concerns, which was both shocking and insulting. We also found a dirty sock under the bed whilst searching for our missing items, which had clearly been there uncleaned for over 5 days. Disgusting! The location of the hotel is another huge downside. The surrounding area was unsafe, and we didn't feel comfortable walking around at all. It was worrying to see how sketchy the neighborhood was, especially when we expected a safe and pleasant environment. Overall, this hotel was a major disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. For the price, you can definitely find a much better experience elsewhere. Save yourself the hassle...

We stayed at the Coco once in 2019, and again in September 2025, both times in a pool suite. I'm sorry to say that while the location and service are great, the rooms are showing a lack of care and maintenance. Also be forewarned that there is construction going on behind the hotel, which makes the suite's pool area very noisy until 5pm.

The suites are very large and well-designed, with a comfortable sitting area and desk, large bathroom and great lighting. However the wear and tear is showing: the pillows were lumpy, the indoor and outdoor couch cushions were stained, the TV had no cable, the power outlet that the Google Home speaker was attached to would cut out frequently. The jets in the pool did not work. It appeared that the shower gel was refilled with water.

The beautiful rooftop space, where there once was a plant-filled bar and breakfast area, is no longer in use.

The Coco is in a great area of Bogota, very walkable to cafes, shopping and amazing restaurants. They have a nice business center/workspace, and the staff members are very friendly and accommodating. The pool suite is a unique amenity among hotels in Bogota, but it's more difficult to justify...
