7 CIELOS — Restaurant in Cartagena

Remo Z 2 Reviewed yesterday Best Restaurant in Boca Grande....so far!!! I've been living in Boca Grande, Cartagena for most of 2023. I have become familiar with 8 or 10 very good restaurants here, but as of today, 7-Cielo is my NEW FAVORITE place in all of Boca Grande!! I have now eaten here twice, and have been exceptionally pleased both time. Full disclosure...I live just down the street from this place, so I will no doubt become a regular at 7 Cielo (7th Heaven.) The food (both times,) was excellent and very well presented....and not at all expensive. And the view!! The view from this outdoor restaurant on the 7th floor is magnificent....unbeatable. And the service!! Tonight I met David, my server, and he was absolutely wonderful!! He was attentive, he was all smiles, and he was unreservedly helpful in both meal selection AND teaching me some more Spanish in regular visits to my table throughout my meal. Oh, and he is SOOO cute!! Very nice young man with an appealing outgoing manner. This evening I had the SkyBurger with a side of the house's special french fries. One of the best hamburger meals I've ever had. (I'm an American. We LIVE on this stuff. I absolutely know a great hamburger when I see one!!) I also had two bottles of sparkling water with my meal, and the whole thing cost $18 US, including la propina (the gratuity.) Simply Amazing!! As I mentioned above....I live two blocks away from 7 Cielo (7th Heaven,) and I will definitely be back for...

Let me first say that the place is cute, but don’t be fooled by the aesthetic of the restaurant. My family of 15 TRIED to enjoy a dinner on 07/15 but when given the check their were many discrepancies. When we asked for a printed out receipt; we then did our due diligence and corrected what should’ve been our original bill. When given the correct version back to the server she tried to fight us on our corrections saying we got all the items listed (which was very untrue). Once we got the manager involved she was no better. It took them legit 45 mins-an hour to check our bill. Most of that time correcting that bill they were just aimlessly talking amongst themselves! And to make more matters worst I fell in their establishment causing me to hit my head on their concrete wall. Glory to God I do not have a concussion at the moment but there was no sense of care during that time of the incident either. Only provided me with a napkin filled with ice and a glass of tap water. I would not eat here if this was the last place standing on earth....

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Some in our party said the food was edible/decent but mine was awful and they would not work with us to take it off of the bill either which I did not have a problem with at first because I will pay for whatever I order. However, check your bill very carefully when you are here. Our server added over $200 USD extra worth of food and drinks to our bill then argued with us for over a hour about the the discrepancies. During this time one of my family member fell and hit their head on the concrete and they did not try to come and check on her for an unacceptable amount of time. I do not want to say that it was a racial issue off the bat but they were much more accommodating to other parties. Definitely ruined what could have been a great family dinner. Beautiful view for...
