↗️ PAYMENT: Only cash possible ↗️ VEGAN MILK: When I was there, they offered following vegan milk options: coconut milk and peanut milk. It would be great to expand menu with almond or oat milk ↗️ WAITING TIME: I ordered açaí bowl and about 20 min later was told they just ran out - I was a bit short on time and it would be great to give customers feedback right away if a dish is available or not - in the end I waited over 45 min for my food and had to rush. ↗️ TASTE/ FLAVOR: I ended up eating green Omelett and it was tasteless. I suggest adding a salt and herbs a well as a side salad. I asked and was told that the Omelett is prepared by blending eggs with fresh spinach. (Like a Smoothie) Personally, I do prefer fresh Spinach leaves 🍃- it will also keep more of the vitamins and nutrients - no recommended from my side ↗️ DESIGN & PRESENTATION: adding a few salad leaves or seeds will make such a huge difference in the way food looks on the plate and this will enhance culinary experience.

Read moreThis is the best deal in Getsemaní! My boyfriend and I came here two days in a row because the quality and prices and location were so great. Highly recommend ordering the açaí bowl ‘de la casa’ which allows you to order 3 toppings of your choice (and they give you a ton of each!). The açaí bowl is a pretty big portion size and with dried coconut, chia seeds, and cacao nibs, it really filled me up (and I can eat a lot). Awesome espresso drinks. Good quality cacao. For breakfast we both ordered eggs (he ordered huevos mix and I ordered omelette verde, which is spinach blended with eggs and cooked into an omelette, and I added a side of farm cheese for $0.50 extra). Every breakfast includes a fresh juice of the day, a choice of black coffee/cappuccino/hot chocolate, and whole grain bread with real butter and jam. None of the breakfasts cost more than $5 USD...seriously insane prices by US standards and such good quality and taste, it really seemed too good to be true until we saw the bill. The staff are friendly and the restaurant itself is really cozy and cute if a bit cramped. They offer free/unlimited cold water, and also sell chocolate bars, cookies, and banana bread which we didn’t get to try but they looked delicious. If we are ever back in Cartagena we will definitely make our...
Read moreWe were excited about this place, given the expansive menu of different juices featuring fresh local fruit. But we ended up feeling kind of ripped-off. Traveling with two very small children, we asked if we could just get a plain fried egg for each. When the bill arrived, it was nearly $33,000COP for the plain eggs. Without telling us in advance, they just charged us for one of their entire large breakfasts that are supposed to come with coffee, juice, and sides. Instead, we got NONE of those things but were still paid full freight. (We'd ordered juice, but were still charged for these.) $33,000COP for a side of fried eggs is absurd - even in a complete tourist trap of a restaurant, which this plays is not supposed to be.
When we brought it up very timidly, the owner was honestly rude and defensive, even as one of her servers stood by clearly understanding this was not cool. None of it is that big a deal, but still just left a bad taste in our mouths that they'd so obviously taken advantage - especially when this was food for toddlers.
The rest of the meal was good enough, but not in a way that felt worth it for the...
