Gokela — Restaurant in Cartagena

Terrible place for service and if you have allergies. Went today for lunch and ordered a salad with no onion (as I'm seriously allergic). I informed the server I had an allergy in Spanish and she repeated it back to me before passing my order on to another lady who put onion through the salad. I don't try and avoid onion, I have to because I have allergic reactions to it. When I noticed the onion I informed the server I couldn't eat it and then she half arsed picked a few pieces out before serving it to me full of onion. Useless. I could r eat the darn thing. I just worry if that's their attitude then what happens if someone else who say is allergic to peanuts gets treated the same? Place is probably fine if you avoid food for health reasons but no...

DUSGUSTING, BOILED, NO FLAVOR!!! Where to start... They speak no english first of all(in a very touristy area). Cross Contamination x10. Wanted a vegetarian burrito, the counter person touch smoked salmon before making the burrito and with the same gloves started making my order. Midway through making the order she changed gloves. No thank you. Walked out!! Gave this place a last chance on my last day, burrito again.. new gloves, this times I though things are going well, but no she began another customers order making a burrito with chicken, same gloves. My burrito wrap broke so she got another wrap and with me same hands scooped the ingredients on to the new wrap. Just completely disgusting. Terrible...

I LOVE the gokela chain, it is amazing, with lots of options for everyone, fresh and delicious ingredients. Nonetheless, this specific location is horrible. The service is the absolute worst, they ever get anything done right, I’ve even had pieces of plastic in my smoothies. There hasn’t been one single time that I’ve received exactly what I asked for when ordering delivery. And to top it off, they take half an hour bringing your food to the table even though it’s already DONE, and they make you pay tips.
