I travel to Medellín frequently throughout the year, and without a doubt, one of my absolute favorite places to visit is Azaí Praia Lovers. It’s become a must-visit on every trip!
What truly makes this place special is their commitment to quality. As someone who values organic, local, and sustainable ingredients, I love knowing that every dish is thoughtfully prepared with fresh, fair-trade produce. Their approach to food aligns with my belief that we should respect what the environment provides, and you can really taste that in every bite.
Whether it's one of their beautiful açaí bowls or their incredible meals, the attention to detail is evident. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made with care. And I have to mention their cappuccino – hands down the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s more than just coffee; it’s an experience.
Andre’s dedication (one of the owners) also stands out. She works hard at ensuring all customers are well cared for, which is something I really appreciate as a small business owner myself.

Azai Praia Lovers San Lucas sits right on the edge of Zona Rosa, just a quick 1–2 minute walk from Parque Lleras. If you’ve traveled the world, you’ll appreciate the global influences — with flavors from Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
They prioritize healthy, organic ingredients, and it shows. The menu is outstanding, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and traditional options. It’s comfort food with a capital C — but with a healthy twist you don’t often find in this neighborhood.
One final touch that sets it apart: the owner is often present, which makes all the difference compared to the absentee-run spots scattered around town. From my house it's an 8 minute walk past six 'so-so" but not nearly as good brunch spots before I arrive to "Azai Praia Lovers Vía Primavera". The best brunch spot in El Poblado is Azai...

The atmosphere is cozy yet light and airy, filled with positive energy. The staff is incredibly friendly and cheerful, making it the perfect place to start the day with a delicious brunch.
We visited twice during our time in Medellín, and each time the food was fantastic. The chicken and waffles were delicious, and I also really enjoyed the Greek bowl. Their homemade granola is amazing—I loved it so much I bought some to take home! My wife had the chicken bowl and was equally impressed. The ingredients are always fresh, and you can tell they really care about the quality of the food they serve.
We tried a few different brunch and lunch spots during our stay, but this one will definitely be on our list when we return to Medellín!...
