Bonhomía — Restaurant in Medellín

The night was just unbelievable. I went with a few coworkers for the company’s anniversary. The atmosphere was just perfect. We walked in and a young lady took us to the table and provided us with the menus. The table was in the back, close enough to see the live music performance that was about to start. The service was super fast and they came to give us water and to get our drinks. We had looked at the menu before we arrived so we already knew the appetizers we wanted to try.

They came with the drink and we were ready to order the main course so they took the order right away. The appetizers came out super fast and everything was delicious.

Not longer after we order few more drinks and they came right on time for the second course. The taste was amazing.

After we finished eating they asked if we wanted to order a dessert which we passed (we were all full) but they seemed so nice (might need to go back to try out).

The price was perfect for our corporate event and everyone left super happy.

To summarize: the music was lovely; food was yummy and service was everything. Fast, fair price and enchanting.

After a terrible experience yesterday at Mojitos, my group of 4 did our research, walked around all of Poblado and Provenza, and decided to end our 5 day trip and our last meal out with Bonhomia. Normally we are very good with taking photos of our food, but we were so hungry, and the food came in such good time, that we forgot to take photos. The service was excellent- and the drinks we ordered were very well made. We ordered 4 Coco Locos, and they were perfectly crafted. Even my mother in law who doesn’t like alcohol complimented on how delicious the Coco Loco was.

When the food arrived, it all arrived together, and between 4 of us adults, we perfectly split the dishes evenly and avoided left overs. I’m including screenshots of what we ordered for reference! We couldn’t be happier with how delicious...

What an amazing night. Beautiful outdoor setup, live music, excellent service and probably the best cake I’ve had, all in all it was great experience. Started off with their house wines which were great and a side of truffle fries. Now these weren’t your regular truffle fries, these were fries soaked in melted cheese along with bacon and tomatoes. This appetizer alone was a hearty meal. Then we ordered the meat balls. They too were decadent. Served in melted cheese with a side of bread. Between the two of us post those appetizers there was simply no room left for any other plate. Yet we decided to celebrate with their Bonhomia cake served with ice cream. The carrot cake with almonds and caramel in the center was just divine. Definitely recommend this place for a fun out...
