Never wrote a negative review about anything.. But here we are... As a lover of music, I thought this would be the perfect place to enjoy some live music and enjoy a great atmosphere... Before going to the establishment, I was aware that there was a cover charge and a minimum that must be spent while inside. I arrived at the bar around 9 pm, not realizing that the live music would start at 11 pm (no problem). As time went by, a kind bartender asked if I wanted anything to drink. I informed her that I would purchase my things when the live music started. She came a few times to check on me, and that was okay. While on my phone, I assume who was a manager due to her attempt to show authority, tapped me, and reminded me that they have a minimum.. There was a language barrier (my fault), however, she was very demanding that I order immediately and gave me condescending looks (not due to the language barrier). She attempted to make me order several times until she understood that I wasn't going to be bullied to order when I wasn't ready.. I do not drink alcohol, so I ordered a non-alcoholic drink when the band started warming up... During this time, there was a woman who was seated next to me.. She only had one drink and wasn't pressured to order more things.. I even finished my drink before her, which she had well before I ordered lastly. I ordered food as promised and made sure to specify what I wanted due to the language barrier.. Guess what the food came out wrong and the manager was nowhere in sight after that. Music was great and other than the "manager" the staff was great but a business is run by making sure everything and everyone works together. 1 Star because she really did ruin the experience to an awesome place.. On the bright side, a homeless individual received a...
Read moreAmazing experience, the best place for live music energy and fun, the 8 piece band (2 woman and 1 gentleman singer and showman) the musicians were super and energy was absolutely electric, great mix of latin and 80's american rock and roll. My best experience yet in Medellin having been visiting many times. Not sure of the name of the band (house band) but i was told they perform friday and saturdays starting at about 1130p. They performed 2 long (over an hour) sets that had the table crowd roaring with excitement. The two lead singers (one blond, one brunette ) were on point with super vocals and brought the fire, the lead male was a super showman as well as having a tremendous high pitched male voice when needed...Lead and bass guitarists killed it and the drummer kept the house moving... of course the keyboardist was an assasin with his various talents. There was a small cover maybe 10 bucks and one liquor bottle per table purchase requirement, all was worth it for the performances and the service was super. I didnt eat so i cant comment on the food. Realistically i dont see how this place doesn't have a line going down the block for entry, All i can say is get there early to get a good seat. I will definately plan on going fri or sat when in medellin. If you like Aerosmith, Lincoln Park, Mana etc you will be amazingly surprised. Cant...
Read moreI am not able to rate the food yet as I did not have anything to eat on my visit. I'll promise to order something on my next visit. What I loved of this place is the atmosphere, god this is my type of place. The ceiling and walls are awesomely adorned with musical instruments and musicians' posters. They have a stage and have live music on a regular basis. On my visit, a female guitarist was playing music covers of 80s and 90s songs (which is the theme of the place, it's the generational music they play) and she was very talented. She even asked the audience what would they like to hear and played their suggestions. This is my kind of chill and hang out place I would visit every weekend. If you are a fan of 80s and 90s rock music, this is a...
