Good burger, emotional rollercoaster

We showed up at 10am, full of Big Mac dreams… only to find out we were stuck in breakfast mode until 11am. We weren’t feeling eggs and muffins, so we awkwardly loitered for an hour, like lost souls in the land of hash browns.

When I asked the lady if the Menu del Día included a Big Mac she said “yes” with confidence. Spoiler alert: it was not a Big Mac. Betrayal level = high.

That said, the fries were fire 🔥 and the Coke was the perfect kind of cold that feels like it could cure any bad day. I asked for double caramel in my sundae, thinking I deserved it after all that, but she hit me with a hard no. Dreams crushed.

Still, the burger was actually delicious. So I left full, slightly confused, and mildly heartbroken about the caramel. Would I go back? Yes. But I’ll come at...

One of my things when travelling is to try McDonald's in every country and I've been to 25 countries. This is, undoubtedly, the worst McDonald's I've ever tried. The meat was overcooked and dry (sitting in bin) and the fries were quite cold and old. I liked the location and the food was the usual Mc D's, but they don't serve the variety of dipsauces I'm used to when buying nuggets. You can only get honey and for me that's not a nugget dipsauce. What about the Honey Mustard, Barbecue Sauce and the all-timer Sweet & Sour dipsauces? Come on, colombian people need to taste...
