I came into this restaurant with moderate to high expectations with the excellent reviews it had. upon leaving there must’ve been a change internally because what I got during my time here was nothing but the complete opposite.

Starting from the initial service, the staff was very cold, disconnected, and made it incredibly obvious she wanted nothing to do with us. from rushing us to order and then being careless with food delivery (still to come), no aspect of the experience was SLIGHTLY close to friendly. The best part of her being our waitress was giving me my receipt to leave there as fast as humanly possible.

With regards to the food and drink, the best thing was probably the complimentary yuca bread and dip. The drinks were incredibly small and I understand “luxury” and “it’s about the taste not the amount” but this should be balanced out. 50,000 pesos for a 6 oz overly complicated drink added to an already disappointing experience. So much so that we refused to get anything else to drink and decided to grab beers and drinks from some random street bar that were infinitely better.

Now on to the food. My goodness, these portions were as small as they were bland, boring, and cold? My partner’s food looked like it had been shaken and stirred along with her drink. Food carelessly plated and the waitress offering a simple “sorry I let the food drop and your plate was messed up. oh well.” Some of us ended up adding our own salt and pepper to it to ATTEMPT to salvage the food. We were left kind of confused as to what we got and did to deserve any of that

On a smaller note: it was my girlfriend’s birthday and we informed the staff beforehand so we could sing her happy birthday with a small dessert. let me tell you I think we all would’ve preferred if we had just been refused. A lifeless piece of tiramisu with a sad candle accompanied by a lighter dropped off at the table was what we got. On leaving our friend tried to buy a water BOTTLE but were told no as the bar had closed. This made zero sense.

Overall, this restaurant unfortunately does not deserve the praise it has gotten in past reviews and needs a complete re-haul cause the street vendors selling chorizos and arepas can put this place to shame. I implore anyone looking for a nice luxury dinner to go literally...

Overpriced for what it is. Pros: Beautiful place on the inside and the terrace area. Service is good the waiters are well trained and attentive.

Cons: The loud music from next door businesses in Lleras makes it almost impossible to really enjoy the terrace. I know that’s not their fault but just keep it in mind.

The food was overpriced and not good at all. We ordered a Frito from the sea or something like that. Pretty much fried breaded 2-3 pieces of sea food and some vegetables for COP 49k. We had steak that was COP 123k that was very small and came cold to the table. We had to return a drink that was overly priced because it was so sugary. They gave me instead a regular not so good margarita priced at COP 50k. We also had to return a dessert that was called “not tiramisu” or something because no one in the table liked it.

I know this is supposed to be an upscale restaurant but c‘ mom guys if you’re trying to bring US prices to Medellin you need to make it a a great fine dining experience. For Us this was not a...

Locations is great for a romantic dinner and also super central. The place looks amazing. The food tasted good compared to the Colombian standards of high end restaurants. Price and quality ratio though don’t match. Also be very careful with the menu list and prices as they will extra charge you for things like extra bread, a sauce, etc.

Unfortunately we have been attended by a a very snooty waiter, a tallish dude with an unpolished beard and glasses, who messed up with our bills, ending up charging us 130k cop for two negronis, only after he offered us to have us to choose a different gin base. He refused to remove it and we paid to avoid scandals, but very unfair. He sneakily avoid to tell us he would charge us the cost of negronis plus the additional cost of the gin base. Cocktail in addition took too long to arrive.

There are better choices around for drinks with a more honest and...

We woke up each morning during our stay at the Marquee hotel so excited to start the day with Abbiocco's signature breakfast! It included a full fruit plate, a main dish, a fresh juice, coffee and/or tea, and a pastry or arepa for ~$10 USD. All the breakfast options we tried were outstanding and we left STUFFED each time. Are there cheaper breakfasts in Medellin? Yes. But I doubt there's anywhere with the same combination of food quality, portion size, ambiance (a little oasis getaway in the middle of Poblado), and--most importantly--fantastic service (special thanks to Bárbara and Luisa R., who took care of us so attentively and with big smiles all week!). We can't wait to return!

When here because they were the only thing open with a decent menu in the morning. This is a really nice restaurant. Great atmosphere great people watching area as well. They have both inside and outside seating. We sit outside. Got to the menu saw that beef tartare and said heck yeah. I’ve never had it with truffles. Highly recommend it. I had the seafood pasta dish. Huge portion you could feed four people by the way. But delicious, fresh seafood 100%. My friend had the chicken Parmesan, portions are huge,so be ready to share. He couldn’t stop eating it. The service was amazing. Our waiter was on point. Love this place I would go again? YES!
