Rooms: The rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean, with stylish decor that balances comfort and elegance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The room also had all the amenities one could ask for, including high-speed Wi-Fi, a minibar, a safe, and a luxurious bathroom stocked with high-quality toiletries.
Service: The staff at Hotel Haven go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. They were always ready to assist with any request, from arranging transportation and tours to providing excellent recommendations for local dining and entertainment. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction.
Dining: The on-site restaurant serves a delicious array of local and international dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The breakfast was a highlight – a delightful mix of traditional Colombian and continental options, served with freshly brewed Colombian coffee that was nothing short of perfect.

It’s a perfect spot to relax with a cocktail after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, there is a well-equipped fitness center and a spa that provides a range of rejuvenating treatments.

Read moreWe are currently on our 2nd night at Haven hotel in El Poblado but we wish we could stay somewhere else. We arrived for Check-in at 3pm but we had to wait in the lounge for another hour before our room was ready. My boyfriend speaks Spanish so he understood when the receptionists were talking about the sheets not being ready yet. No apologies were given and there were about 6 of us all waiting in the small lounge. We arrived to our room and did not have any towels. I’m on my second night and we didn’t have any towels again. And they only give you two big towels.m when you finally get them. No towels for drying hands, or putting it on the floor that gets soaking wet from the doorless shower. I paid for the ambassador suite so I was expecting better room and service.
Also, I did not feel safe in this hotel because 1) we left our luggage before our Check-in time with Haven hotel. Usually this is not a problem because they put it in a secure location. After coming back, I saw that they were letting people go grab their backpacks and luggage from the office in the back without accompanying them. So I decided to go ahead and keep it with me in the lounge and also went to go get it. I or anyone else could have grabbed another bag. My boyfriend talked to them and they said there were people watching. But how would they know if I took the right bags if they don’t even have a identification tag on them? 2) around midnight, we had someone knock on the door and tell us that they have our lost wallet. We quickly double checked and knew that it was not true. Luckily, we were smart enough to not open the door but I’m not sure what would’ve happened if we did. Since they allow anyone to walk into the hotel (because of the bar upstairs) I was terrified.
Go to a different hotel. This one isn’t worth the trouble with its lack of security and...

Let me just say, Haven Hotel remains the only place I stay when visiting Medellín and for very good reason. This hotel consistently goes above and beyond, making every guest feel like family. My friends were equally impressed and thoroughly enjoyed their experience, both at Haven Hotel and their sister properties.
