Culinary Delights with Heart!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you’re on the hunt for a restaurant that feels like a warm hug from your favorite aunt, look no further than this charming eatery! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by the delightful aroma of freshly cooked meals, the most amazing lemon drop martini and the friendly smiles of the owners, who truly make this place shine.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, decorated with quirky art and a touch of whimsy that instantly makes you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, relax, and enjoy a meal that feels less like dining out and more like being part of a big family gathering.
One of the owners, who doubles as the head chef, came out to chat with us while we were eating. Their enthusiasm for food was infectious as they shared stories behind the dishes and the inspiration that drives their culinary creations. It felt less like a restaurant experience and more like dining with friends who just happen to be culinary wizards!
This restaurant is a hidden gem that I can’t recommend highly enough. With amazing owners who pour their hearts into every aspect of the dining experience, you’ll leave feeling satisfied, happy, and eager to return. If you’re looking for delicious food served with love and a side of genuine hospitality, make sure to stop by—you won’t be...
Read moreFood is great. Pictures you see are well representative of what you'll get. The service though could be improved. Our first waiter came with the menus and asked right away what we wanted to drink as we didn't even have time to look at the menu. Second waiter elaborated on specials of the day that were not on the menu that we had to remember by hart. Result we forgot most of it in the next 2 minutes and we are talking about +/- 12 dishes. So it's not only the catch of the day if you see what I mean. My wife ended up talking something in the menu, the tuna and my son a kid's plate which as well is not on the menu. You have to ask about it. The only thing I remembered about the waiter's list was the duck and since it is uncommon in Costa Rica that's what I took. All food was great, but we had to asked our waiter back at the table to get some wine and we did not get the plates all at the same time. By the time mine came my son had finished is dinner. The final invoice at 175$USD. The service should definitely be improved. And who serves "great value" water bottles is a high end restaurant...
Read moreLemon Zest was a great dining experience overall! I came with a large group, and our server was incredibly attentive, making sure everyone was well taken care of. The service truly felt top notch. We were even greeted by the owners, who were such sweet and welcoming people. That definitely added a personal touch to the evening.
The food was really good for the most part. The standout for me was the guacamole. It was absolutely delicious and fresh! The only complaint I heard from our group was about the chicken pasta; a few people felt it lacked flavor and could’ve used more sauce. But aside from that, everyone enjoyed their meals.
If you’re in Jacó, I’d definitely recommend checking out Lemon Zest. Great atmosphere, amazing service, and a solid menu with...
