I have to say this is the worst food that you will ever eat. We ordered a thick crust pizza, the crust was pulled out of the freezer, they had 3 people (young working) who talked a lot with each other and laughed and ate the toppings right out of the serving bins, one gal took sauce with a spatula then took her finger and rubbed on the spatula then licked her finger. Thank goodness she wasn't making my pizza she was making a small pizza for someone else. A young fellow was making a small rolled up pizza and when cooked cut it into pieces and places with other smaller pizza's in a box but kept out 3 pieces for himself to share with the other two girls. It took them over 3/4 of an hour to make my cooked crust pizza, it was painful to watch as they laughed and chatted and just ignored their work. This is not Pura A Vida. I feel sorry for the owner as he has spent a lot of money moving from working from a food truck last year to opening a store front establishment. By the way our pizza was still thin crust virtually no cheese.

We ordered pizza from Papa John’s food truck twice whilst we were staying in our hotel in Jaco and it was great both times. We ordered both times online using our phones and chose cash on collection. We used the Google translate camera app on our second phone to help translate the website into English. We got two large pizzas for ₡10.490 as they were half price on the website.
