Alamo/National/Enterprise Car Rental — Local services in La Fortuna

The service here was amazing. I looked around at other car rental companies in the area, and Alamo had the best prices. Everything was exactly as described and went smoothly. I made the reservation throught email a few weeks ahead of time, and was worried my reservation would not be taken seriously, but this was not the case at all. We got exactly the car we requested, and there were no added fees when came the time to get the car. All prices were clearly described and respected. Since we were “under age drivers” (21 years old), I was worried we would try and be taken advantage of. This was not the case at all. Gerardo, the employee at the desk in La Fortuna, was very respectful and professional. He explained everything clearly, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Alamo and would love to rent with them again...

During Oct/Nov of 2023 I and my family required the services of both Alamo Quepos and La Fortuna. I would like to express that we were totally satisfied with the service we received from both but especially in La Fortuna where some extenuating circumstances required that we switch vehicles more than once. Gerardo and his crew met all of our needs and solved all of our problems promptly and efficiently. Gerardo's pleasant demeanor and bi-lingual ability simplified our transaction regardless of whom in the family he was dealing with (my daughter speaks Spanish and I only English). My family and I were visiting the Arenal Volcano area for a few days and were at the Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. When we returned to our SUV one of the workers there pointed out we had a flat tire and could see the screw in it. I was able to change it in the parking lot then drive down to the La Fortuna Alamo location (I had rented the SUV out of Liberia). This is a very small location, so I parked on the street and walked into the lobby. Told the agent behind the counter (Gerardo Araya Villalobos) what had happened, and he said to pull into the gate and they would fix it. Jumped into the SUV, pulled into the gate with about 5 minutes later the tire was patched, and I was on my way. A+...
