Realistically, a 3.5 - It's only fair to the restaurant though that I explain why.
I was sat at the back of an empty room in the very back corner, no reason I couldn't have been seated on the same size table closer to everyone else, so this felt a little weird.
I'm not really sure who my server was, it started off as a woman but then changed over time. She recommended the shrimp gnocchi, and I expected a main sized dish, but what turned up was something between a starter and main size, it was small and it genuinely made me wonder if I'd accidentally just ordered a starter or something. The speed at which this was brought out to me was so fast that I'd barely started my wine. I think there's a sweet spot with a sit down meal where you should have time to start to feel hungry, but it shouldn't take forever, this was too fast.
I also ordered bread (which helped to actually fill me up), but when they took my plate away of the gnocchi, the new server took the bread, despite it not being finished.
I want to be clear, the food tasted good, the wine was also better value than any other wine I've come across at restaurants in the town, and I have no complaints overall on price, as it seems Croatian food prices are going through the roof all over, but I came here hoping to leave feeling full and satisfied, and instead I feel like I now need to head to get something else to eat.
The desserts menu is very limited, and I decided to skip the cakes option as it would have put me over the amount of cash I had on me (it is a cash only venue).
I do apologise to the owners for having to leave a review that has a negative impact, as everyone at the restaurant seemed very friendly, but hopefully my honestly and detailed feedback here, help to inform in some way, even if it's my own...

Service was pleasant and courteous. We did not wait long to be seated, despite arriving shortly after 9, but it does seem to be less crowded than it is in August.
Food was mediocre. We had an appetizer of stuffed pepper served with a red beet paste. Was ok. We ordered the chef's special and the shrimp gnocchi. The chef's special was a goat stew with peas. If you're Eastern European, this is the typical dish that every grandma/mom makes and it's not that special if you've grown up on it, so I would say skip it, especially for 115 kuna. The shrimp gnocchi was decent, but the portion was quite small and was not generous with the shrimp.
I noticed that the prices have gone up from the last time someone posted a menu here. For example, chef's special used to be 90 kuna. It is now 115.
We also ordered olives and they fell well below the standard of olives served anywhere else in the Mediterranean. Dry and tasteless.
The drunken figs that everyone seems to rave about were not edible from my perspective. Dates on their own would have been better. I don't know how long they are drenched in brandy, but they were so bitter that they were not enjoyable. Certainly not worth their price.
In terms of atmosphere, the restaurant is quite small and the official pictures of it don't really seem to reflect reality. It certainly doesn't look at all lounge-y and decorated with cute little ottomans, etc, as shown.
Overall, I...

We had a really bad dining experience at this restaurant. My husband and I had dalmatian prosciutto entree and gnocchi with shrimps. Very ordinary quality My daughter has a few allergies to food (gluten, onion and garlic) which can be difficult to work around in a kitchen so it’s totally understandable if a restaurant can’t arrange it. However, we went into this restaurant and they promised they could make a dish without these ingredients. The chef personally came to talk with us and joked about the allergies. They then proceeded to serve us a plate which obviously had onion, which the chef soon confirmed with the kitchen. It was very strange that the chef did not know what was in his dishes and had to check with the kitchen. The chef then disappeared for 20 minutes without sending the plate back or offering anything instead. It would’ve been fine if they just told us from the beginning that they didn’t have any food for our daughter. We would’ve gone to a different restaurant. Instead, her allergies were not taken seriously and they risked her getting very sick. They initially made us pay for the untouched onion dish when they gave us the bill. Upon our complains about our daughter being left without dinner, risking to get sick for their lack of care and attention they eventually gave us a discount of €7 even though the untouched appetiser costed...
