I had a really disappointing experience here.
The food I ordered was a tomato soup and the Skewer Delfin (turkey). The soup felt like it had just been reheated in a microwave. It was hot, but some ingredients inside were still cold. The turkey was undercooked and, even worse, it was prepared in the same pan as fish, so the meat had a strong fish aftertaste.
The menu itself was also confusing. It had pictures and names of dishes, but no explanation of the ingredients, so it was hard to know what I was actually ordering.
The service wasn’t great either. The waiter asked us twice if we wanted drinks, and when we were finally ready to order, he told us they had no beer and no white wine - only red. He gave us a taste of the red wine, which seemed fine at first, but the actual glass we got was clearly old and poorly stored. It even looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for too long, and the taste confirmed it. Calling this “local wine” felt like a disgrace, because local products deserve better representation.
The price was reasonable, but honestly, I wouldn’t come back just because of the food and overall experience. I can understand drinks running out, but it’s important to inform customers in advance about what’s not available instead of waiting...

Ambiente: From distance the table cloth fabric looked good but it was really dirty and pretty gross. No real cleanup done at all. Only the look at the church was compensating it a little bit.
Food: We both ordered Cevapcici with Ajvar to get typical Croatian food (side: Fries). Price was 17€ for each dish which is high for Cevapcici around here. We got misshaped wannabe-rolls that tasted like rubber out of a freezer. They were served with a really small portion limp/mushy fries. There was also almost no Ajvar with the dish (maybe one teaspoon) and the served Ajvar was coating a small salad leaf. Also there were badly cut raw onions with it. Would give -5 stars if possible.
Service: The waiter seemed friendly in the beginning but behaved weird after some time. While we were eating he turned on several videos on his phone on the neighbouring table on full volume which was really unpleasant. When I wanted to pay by card he asked me why I haven’t got any cash with me. I insisted to pay with card.
For the two Cevapcici and one 0.75L bottle of water...
Read moreProbably the worst place to dine in Pula. I cannot believe that they are open. We had a tasteless salad followed by average fish and terrible meat courses. In particular, cevapcici had the texture of gum and tasted of the lowest quality meat. Staff can speak more languages, but this doesn't make them nice or friendly. Seeing that my partner didn't eat her plate, they start to argue with us about the reasons why we have not enjoyed the meal like everyone else. Moreover, we sat there with the promise that we could pay with card, but then we saw the chef saying at every table that only cash was possible. At my questions he answered that usually (???) the system works only 50% of the time. Finally, I haven't seen a single tax invoice delivered to the tables, only sums showed on paper. When I asked for that, they suddenly were not able to understand English language! I just paid and left...
