Restaurant Pizzeria BAR La Perla — Restaurant in Grad Pula

The owner really went out on the remodeling of this hole. The place looks really nice on every level of detail. The first of (hopefully many) water side locations that aren't tourist traps. I liked the fact you could see the kitchen and how clean and well maintained it was.

I have no idea how things will be when it's busy, but when they are not, the meal and feel was great. One thing that was missed is the lemon with the calamari (both fried and grilled). I'm a fan of fried calamari and this place is so far the best in the city. But not THE best (refer to the location on the water next to Valbadon). Here the batter wasn't hitting the mark. There was something off. But the calamari were excellent 👌🏻.

Overall the table was really pleased with the meals. Even the pizza. It doesn't look like much, but it surprisingly packs a really good taste. 2nd best in the city. I prefer the chimney place (fabrika) that seems to get a little higher in quality. I'm looking forward to seeing hiw the handle things in peak season! Especially the exhaust from a million cards piled up waiting to get into that silly parking lot near arena. The owner might want to start lobbying for a massive parking garage to sustain the tourism, unlike the last years which have been terrible for finding parking...

We had the honor of being guests in this newly opened restaurant. The ambiance looks very appealing. A lot of attention is paid to the little details. I really appreciate that the atmosphere is a perfect blend of modern and traditional.

The staff is friendly, albeit very young, they are truly professional, indicating their motivation and the owner's commitment to their well-being. The owner is also actively present in the restaurant; he greets the guests and engages with the employees. If this continues, my utmost respect!
