Fantastic service with knowledgeable waiters. Amazing food. I would especially recommend the shrimp tartare with truffel or the beef carpaccio with truffels, followed by the Pasta Aylin (blue pasta with scampi and truffel).
Combine it with a local Brandy with a tad of honey and truffel crumbles.
Best food I had in a long time.
Would definitely recommend this place!!
Before I had decided on the food, I was contemplating what to drink. The waiter, I believe his name was Igor (although I might be misremembering), allowed me to taste a beer I was eyeing, which I subsequently ordered while I was perusing the food.
Later, he also allowed me to taste the Truffel Brandy. I ended up having two doubles of those because it was just that freakin' good!
For desert, I went ahead and just ordered another one of the pastas. Something with pistachio. Also very good, although quite a bit heavier than the other dishes.
I ended up with a bill of ~86 € but paid €95 for the impeccable culinary experience.
You can pay with cash or card. Sadly, they don't accept Bitcoin yet. I do hope they add accepting Bitcoin as an option. I would recommend they use BTCPayserver for that, as it is excellent free and...
Read moreMy fiance and I just left the restaurant and I felt compelled to give this incredible place a good review. The service was friendly, attentive and welcoming and we truly felt looked after - you really could tell that the gentleman that served us had a real passion and pride in the food that was being served. After hearing some recommendations and being shown a plate of beautiful handmade pasta, we settled on the proscuitto and cheese starter which was accompanied by an amazing local olive oil as well as the lobster tagliatelli and the pasta Aylin which was blue mafaldini (coloured by spirulina), scampi and the most gorgepus truffle sauce with lovely large slices of truffle all through it. The desserts, one chocolate and one pistachio, were equally as delicious and were flown in from a renowned Italian patissier from the Amalfi coast. Everything was then capped off by a very thoughtful coffee that was given to us on the house as the gentleman who served us was aware that we had to return to work and we likely to be feeling a little tired after the wonderful feast we'd just had. All in all an absolutely fantastic experience and truly a must-try restaurant if you ever find...
Read moreWe had a night in Pula before a flight. After reading all the positive reviews for this restaurant, we made sure we went straight there to make dinner reservations for later that evening. They were already fully booked at 18:00 so very glad we reserved. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even let us borrow her fan as it was so hot due to the heatwave. My husband had the pasta with salmon and I had the pasta with pistachios. My husband can't eat dairy and the chef was incredibly accomodating. He offered to make any of the meals he wanted without dairy. The portions were huge, the ingredients fresh and the price incredibly reasonable. I was so full, I shouldn't have had dessert but the options looked so good that I had a lemon dessert from the Amalfi coast and it was definitely worth it. We didn't have any cocktails but people around us did and they looked nice. We'd highly recommend having...
