Restaurant Spalatin — Restaurant in Grad Split

Very nice place to eat in the old town of Split. The prices are fairly low, but the quality is really good. We have ordered some pizzas and each of them was tasty - the igredients were fresh, the dough was fluffy and well baked :) Red wine was tasty (I am not wine expert though). The shrimp risotto was done exactly how it is supposed to be. The rice was not too soggy, but also not completly soft, the sauce was great and shrimps were tasty. I really do recommend it. There was only one comment that, there could be extea bread/pita to greek salad :) You can pay with card here and here is toilet for customers, in which the conditions were ok. Beers were as usual, nothing special.

awful experience don’t even bother. we arrived at the restaurant when it was empty(only one other table), we asked for a table for two and waiters briefly looked up from their phones to gesture ‘sit anywhere’. Upon taking a seat we placed our bags on the chair next to us (two small ladies handbags) and after waiting 20 minutes a waiter appeared to take our order. He clearly had an attitude with us, rolling his eyes and sighing when we said we were ready to order both drinks and food. He also picked our bags up of the chair and chucked them on the table insisting he needed to take the chair for a reservation in 50 mins (the restaurant was still empty at this point and no reserved signs to be seen). In the end we got up and left as the place did not seem to be very friendly towards young...

An excellent clients' approach & order handling. Very well prepared staff & bussers, the beverage & food comes in minutes, let alone the quality of draught beer & spirits. Inspiring!

These are the guys who love their work! Also, the female staff does their job, too! You won't miss a minute with the appropriate attitude (special thanks goes to Boris, the Restaurant Manager on duty, the professional of this field), and the other cuisine staff. Superbly amazing.
