Came here because āTikTok said it was good.ā Mistake #1.
We arrived on time for our reservation, but apparently time means nothing here because we stood around like confused chickens while the staff ghosted us for 20 minutes before even looking our way. We finally got seated at a table that was so wobbly every time a breeze hit it, it nearly spilled our warm, overpriced wine (more on that later).
We sat there waiting for another 15 minutes before a server approached us with the energy of someone being forced at gunpoint to take our order. Zero greeting, zero smile, zero acknowledgment that we are human beings who came to spend ā¬ā¬ā¬ on their overpriced steaks.
Ordered the tomahawk medium rare, because thatās why people come here, right? Friend ordered seafood because theyāre a āseafood person.ā We got truffle mash and grilled veggies too because why not ruin more food at once.
45 minutes later: ⢠Tomahawk came out well done. Not āoops, a little over.ā No. Grey, dry, unseasoned, shoe-leather sad. I tried to cut it with the dull steak knife they gave me and it was like sawing through rubber. ⢠Seafood was cold, shrimp unpeeled, rubbery, clearly thawed 30 min before serving. Mussels tasted like seawater and despair. ⢠Truffle mash was āforgotten.ā We had to ask again and got it 10 min later, cold with a faint smell of cheap truffle oil like a bad candle. ⢠Grilled veggies? Burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. A metaphor for this restaurantās entire vibe.
Meanwhile, our wine was served warm, and nobody offered water, bread, or literally anything resembling basic hospitality. Staff was too busy avoiding eye contact and hiding in corners scrolling on their phones. No check-ins, no āhow is your meal,ā nothing.
When we asked for the bill, it took 30 more minutes while we watched the staff hanging out, pretending we werenāt there, and ignoring the universal āhelp usā stares we were sending them. We were charged for bread we never got, charged for the truffle mash we had to beg for, and left there wondering if this was some elaborate prank.
Summary: ⢠Wait forever to be seated. ⢠Wait forever for menus. ⢠Wait forever for overcooked steak and cold seafood. ⢠Wait forever for your bill. ⢠Pay way too much for mid-tier food and bottom-tier service. ⢠Leave angry, broke, and still hungry.

This place is not āfine dining.ā Itās an overpriced tourist trap where service is non-existent, food is cooked without care, and you will leave with your wallet emptied and your day ruined.
Go literally anywhere else. Get a ā¬3 burek and a cold beer from the corner shop, and youāll have a significantly better culinary experience than whatever this was supposed to be.

We tried going on a Fri night without reservations, as expected they were quite busy and we asked to make reservations for Sat night. I joked with the hostess on the spelling of my name, and we were set for 8pm
Say night we arrive at 7:50, and as soon as we walk up the beautiful hostess remembered us (from the teasing of my name)! Seriously I was shocked! Iām sure they have hundreds come thru every night, and that started off the night great! We were promptly seated, and were being attended to by Ante. I ordered the Ribeye aged in Whiskey for 100 days, and my wife had the Filet Mignon. For sides we had the buttered rice and baked potatoes. Ante brought over a listing of the Ribeyes aged that were available by size, and I selected one. We asked for a bottle of wine, and Ante paired it with a fantastic Red Croatian!
The steaks were AMAZING!!! Perfectly cooked, the Ribeye aged in Whiskey was AMAZING!!! Filet Mignon, FANTASTIC! We did enjoy the Buttered Rice better then the potatoes... it was like a creamy risotto - Yum!
We finished with a dessert, a warm and fantastic lil pie!
We didnāt even tell Ante that we were celebrating our anniversary or that it was our last night in Croatia, but our experience here truly made our last night here!!! Thank you to the hostess, Ante, and all the great service here! ...
