aROMA Gelato Experience — Restaurant in Grad Stari Grad

The best ice cream i had in a long time, and i am big ice cream lover. I was looking for an ice cream in Stari grad and i saw a big line in front of this shop.

So i said it must be good if there is a line and i waited. And tbe wait was so worth it. I dont even know how much was the ice cream, my girlfriend payed but it was worth every penny.

Even tough i hate standing in lines i actually went back in to an even bigger line to get another ice cream from them. It was that good.

I know they are a bit more expensive than others at Stari grad but this is an ice cream that you will remember. It is significantly better than your regular 2 euro per scoop ice...

Cute little hole in the wall ice cream shop on the riva. The Gelato is delicious but the main attraction for me was they have more variety than all.the other places including a vegan ice cream (unfortunately only one flavour so far but hopefully will get more adventurous). Lots to chose from here and the Gelato is great quality. The staff are warm and very friendly. One downside is they use single use plastic spoons instead of wood with isn't great especially being beside the ocean. They provide a cup to put used spoons in but probably doesn't make...

The gelato was fine, BUT

The prices are ridiculously high (we payed €7 per person for 2 scoops, compared to the average €4).

We expected the long line was due to popularity and the good quality gelato however, it turned out the worker had simply decided to adopt a more relaxed pace (ie She was SO slow and could not care less).

Save yourself the money & time, there are plenty of other equally good gelato places...
