Absolutely beautiful location, shame the food was a let down 😔.

Located up a tiny alley that you’d easily miss, beautiful courtyard outside to sit, such a lovely atmosphere and lovely ambient lighting.

The food let it down, maybe we had a bad chef on the day, maybe we picked the wrong meal and other meals there are better. Or maybe Croatians prefer their meat really well done. We had the mixed grill, the chicken was alright but the lamb and pork were really chewy and overcooked. Chips were brown so you could tell the oil had not been changed for a while. For €28pp it’s just not worth it.

I almost feel a bit guilty writing this as the staff and atmosphere were so lovely, I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately I didn’t.

This was the start of a disappointing relationship with Croatian food on my trip - severely overpriced and severely underwhelming. My advise to anyone visiting Croatia is to eat Ćevapčići, pljeskavica or fish. These are more traditional local foods and are priced for...

We visited Pharia in June. The best mussels EVER. So, we decided to come back in September. Unfortunately, the mussels were much better in June... Fish was not spicy enough. In fact it was not even salty. But, to be honest, risotto with sea food, and home made white wine were really tasty. I suppose we will not come back again. But not because of mussels or fish. The problem of this place is... a waiter. A tall guy withe a beard. He looks very upset, angry, unhappy. He doesn't tell anything. Communication: 2 out of 10. If you are going to visit this place, do everything not to be served by this guy. Then, you will be satisfied much...

When you enter you'll be very pleased about the vibe, but don't be fooled about that. We didn't have a place to sit downstairs so we were put at the table outside, on the roof. After 5 minutes we were full of scoot from the grill and we went inside. We ordered a grilled fish, grilled octopus, 2 garnishes, a beer and a glass of house wine. The bill was 60 euro. The fish was ok, nothing special, but the octopus was boiled too much and grilled no more than 30 seconds. We could say that the French fries was better than fish or octopus. I highly recommend to skip this place because it doesn't worth the...

When you walk through the doors to Konoba Pharia you feel like you are walking into a fairytale. The courtyard setting is beautiful and the staff are warm, welcoming and efficient. The food is simple Croatian dishes done well with quality ingredients. The menu might be a little underwhelming for some as they lack any vegan options other than a quite wilted salad but this is to be expected in a small town. Fish is fresh but the Ćevapi is a must try. The exceptional service continues right to the end with a complimentary local brandy after the meal. Quite literally a hidden gem and not to be missed

Was here a few nights ago with my group of friends since it rained for two days and this was one of the few places in town where we could just come and eat without reservation needed. The place is decorated in traditional style and the menu is quite big, with a lot of choices of different seafood and meat. I've had grilled octopus which was very nice and some of my friends chips and meat since he ordered a meat plate not knowing how huge the portion is. Would highly recommend the place for its food and the great service.
