AT BANGKOK Thai Restaurant Zadar — Restaurant in Grad Zadar

After eating the local cuisine for days, we wanted to eat something different again and decided to go for this Thai restaurant and well, we surely did not regret it for a second!

We had a bao bun, the Satay skewers, the massaman curry and the beef noddle soup. Everything was so delicious. You gotta try the bao bun with the peanut sauce. It's a game changer!

The service was also absolutely lovely! By far, the nicest people we met in Zadar. The costumer service deserves so much more than 5 stars.

Next day, we came back for our last meal in Zadar and were able to pre-order our lunch so we would be able to make it in time to the airport. Everything went smoothly and the food (bao bun, Grandpa's favourite and Thai BBQ pork) was amazing again. There's no other place in Zadar I felt more comfortable in. The Restaurant is quite new and everything looked very clean as well.

Considering the prices you pay in the restaurants in the old town, I think this one is a good deal. The portions were totally fine as well.

I highly recommend a visit at this restaurant! It's a must try in my opinion.

Avoid if you have children.

I was rudely berated by a male waiter about my son playing with his cutlery in a near empty restaurant.

Now it was slightly annoying but nothing outrageous and I'd already told him to stop playing with his cutlery and he'd calmed down a bit. He definitely wasn't causing a problem and the only other people in the restaurant with us had no problem.

The waiter claimed my son had damaged the table, which was complete insanity. There were marks on the table from previous use, on all sides of the table as is not unusual in a lot of places. He then doubled down on this after I challenged him.

I got up and left and he says "oh but I've got your drinks". What reaction was he expecting? Does he not know how to talk to people in general, let alone customers?

Female waitress was very polite and friendly it's a shame he had to cause a problem. If something needed to be said (it didnt and has never anywhere else), a simple "Can you stop him playing with the cutlery" was more...

Honestly very much next level experience for a restaurant in Zadar!

I'm not trying to sell the restaurant for any more reason other than this restaurant deserves it. The owners and chefs are truly humble and engaging to ensure your experience is top notch to match the food. We started our experience in Zadar with the traditional restaurants....a lot of the same meats and seafood between the restaurants and 'bbq' restaurant across the bridge in 'new town" the burger was good but incredibly slow service, this was the opposite. Intentive staff to match the quality of the food, it's the full experience, and if you lower your guard and accept the "Feed Me" option, you will come away impressed, as their efforts to please won't go unnoticed.

Honestly, I'm not trying to sell the company like a stakeholder. Just a foodie that really appreciates a restaurant that does it right, and it's worth the appreciation. It's worth your visit!
