Bistro Rosmarino — Restaurant in Grad Zadar

We were in Zadar on vacation and went to eat at this place 3 times. The first 2 times we were served by a very kind and gentle waiter. He was young with brown eyes. But the third time we had the bad luck to be served by an incredibly rude waiter. There are words on the menu that are not written in a way that makes them easy to pronounce, like "Vege". We pronounced it as we had heard it from the waiters themselves days before. There was a misunderstanding between him and us and he spent long minutes humiliating us, bringing us the menu to "force" us to agree with him, making fun of us with the rest of the waiters because he thought our pronunciation was wrong, and mistreating us. It was incredibly unpleasant. In the end, he even wanted us to stay because, I guess, he was afraid that he might get a bad grade. Dissapointed. The food was OK but not worth money we spent. I ordered risotto with shrimps and it was just tasty...nothing more. Just common dish which i am able to prepare myself. Paying 20euro for this I expect much more taste. Chicken and fries for my younger Sun - very dry, overcooked. Eatable but nothing more. My wife had Ravioli with seafood and seafood was not prepared as good as we had yesterday in Konoba San Marko on Pašman. Seafood was not soft, it was a bit like rubber. Thats not good. Lemonade for 4.2 euro it's a 200ml water and a little bit of lemon juice. Hard to understand this price... And at the end when i asked for the check the waiter definitely was checking if we are going to pay or if we gonna to pay enough. I've never had such situation in my life. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant. The interior is stylish, spotless, and very inviting, creating an atmosphere that feels just as refined as some high-end dining spots, yet still warm and comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable.
