From the moment we crossed the threshold, the service radiated a kind of effortless assurance — the sort of confidence only born of absolute faith in the kitchen. “Choose anything,” they told us, “and it will be amazing.” A bold promise, one might think — yet one they fulfilled with delicious precision.
The setting itself was a balm to the senses: relaxed, bohemian in style, with plush, sink-into-me chairs that seemed to hold you in a gentle embrace. A live singer drifted through the room, their dulcet tones weaving through the air like silk, elevating the entire evening into something that felt part performance, part indulgence.
The opening act: sushi so fresh it might have leapt from the sea minutes before, prawn tempura encased in a golden cloud of the lightest, airiest batter, and tuna tartare so vibrant and clean it could make a fisherman weep.
Then, the mains — an unmitigated triumph. The steak arrived like a masterclass in cookery: seared to perfection, tender enough to silence the table, draped in an exquisite sauce that flirted with every taste bud in turn. Vegetables, too often an afterthought elsewhere, were here treated with reverence — crisp, aromatic, and kissed with Asian flavours. The tuna steak was a study in precision: pink and delicate at its heart, framed by a perfect sear. And when one guest confessed themselves too gloriously full for another main, the stir-fried vegetables they opted for instead were no consolation prize — they were a symphony in their own right, vibrant, generous, and utterly delicious.
Throughout, the service was both attentive and unobtrusive — relaxed yet precise, like a maître d’ who knows exactly when to appear and when to vanish. In short: a dining experience that doesn’t just meet expectations, it spoils you for...
Read moreThis is a very busy restaurant right on the sea-front so beautiful views, my daughter and I visited twice and enjoyed the food immensely, all due credit to the chef here, excellent presentation and lovely atmosphere. To get 5 stars the service needs a little work, although apologetic, the first server who said it was only her second season was a little haphazard, I went to find our own chopsticks, soy-sauce and dipping bowl, she was nice enough but that’s it. I did enquire as to why a restaurant with vegan options was not online.. happy cow for instance, she really didn’t seem to care and said she was just the waitress, oh dear, as a business owner myself that made me cringe. The second evening we visited the girl was there again and whilst she remembered us seemed very hesitant to offer us a place to sit, in spite of there being many places to seat 2 people, which was most confusing, an older gentleman stepped in and seated us, thankfully he served us for the remainder of the evening and he was definitely more on it and made us feel welcome, once again the food was lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Owning my own business I know how hard it can be to get things right which is why I wanted to review, hope it helps to give your visitors the 5 star treatment...
Read moreI am a server and my boyfriend is a cook. Service was okay but not really motivated and very uncoordinated... I always thought that i would bother them when I just wanted to ask for things I already said 5 times before. It wasn't a busy night and I really don't understand how one person can forget so less things in such a short time like an goldfish. The server(a girl) didn't even ask is everything was okay and came 38 minutes AFTER we ate. I ordered rice with tofu and vegetables and ate just two spoons and couldn't ate the other half and she had the nerve ro not even ask what was wrong. I'll never ever go to this place. The food was horrible and the service too. Such a pity , the place is right in front of the beach. I would give just half an star if I could. The poor servants! Please mr manager If you read this, please take care of your cooks and servants! Please give them more opportunities and attention when it comes to their needs, you know its your fault . Please please give them...
