Το Στεκι

This restaurant is outstandingly good. It’s at the more “Greek” end of the seafront away from the bars but nearer other restaurants. The food is authentic and you can taste that it is all fresh and not cheap “tourist” freezer specials like so many other places. The portions are large and excellent value for money. The owner is friendly but has passion to be the best restaurant in the area and it absolutely is. It’s a few hundred yards up the seafront from “Hotel Mimossa” to the right direction as you look at the hotel with sea behind you.

A special for the weekend is home made bread with olive, tomato and feta cheese served with lovely garlic butter and olive paste.

I enjoyed the red wine as it’s not as sweet as other house wines and tasted a bit more “merlot”.

Wifey enjoyed the dry white wine as it’s very “Pinot”

The foot is piping hot and large portions that taste really fresh.

The atmosphere is quiet confidence and very “Greek” taverna feeling.

Chairs are comfy and the sides of the restaurant have wind blinds for when it’s breezy but they are lifted up when it’s mild, giving fresh air while you dine.

The owner (amazing host) and his wife (amazing cook) and his daughter (amazing service) welcomes us and made us feel like treasured family.

I’ve dined at most of the Sidari restaurants and this is by far the freshest, tastiest and yet cheapest one for this quality in the area.

You can reserve a table via Facebook as they’re popular and do get busy.

Το σέρβις δυστυχώς δεν μας άρεσε , κ είμασταν οι πρώτοι πελατες . για αρχή μας έφερε μόνο έναν κατάλογο αντί για δυο π είμασταν για να διαλέξουμε ενώ σε αλλά τραπέζια μετά π ήρθαν έφερε κανονικά όσα άτομα ήταν τόσους καταλόγους στο άτομο . Παραγγείλαμε νερό και κόκα κόλες όπου κανονικά είναι ξεχωριστά τα ποτήρια του νερού κ ξεχωριστά τα ποτήρια της κόκα κολλάς . Κ μας έφερε μόνο νερού . Ζήτησα ποτήρια κ παγάκια για την κόκα κόλλα κ έφερε μόνο παγάκια κ αναγκαστικα πήρα απο τα διπλανά τραπέζια ποτήρια εγώ . Όσο τώρα για το φαγητό χωριάτικη σαλάτα με ξύδι πρώτη φορά τρώω πράγμα π δεν μ άρεσε . Το χωριστικό λουκάνικο καθολου ωραία γευστικά . Οι μπριζόλες πολύ καλή μερίδα το μόνο που άξιζε ήταν αυτό . Για αυτό μόνο κ τα δυο αστέρια . Το σέρβις είναι αυτό π μας Ενόχλησε περισσότερο απο όλα δεν γίνεται να μην υπάρχει καλό σέρβις προς τους πελάτες είναι πολύ σημαντικό για...

The food was very very tasty. Staff was friendly and taking all precautions of covid. (Wearing masks and keeping distance). In the Center of Nicosia. Big parking place right next to the restaurant. Great for a group of friends but also for families....
