Peroutsios Kebab — Restaurant in Larnaca

Peroutsios it has got the best souvlaki in Larnaca. They do mostly take away and to order but it has got a few tables on the side of the trailer under the trees, which it provides a cool and shaded area during the Summer months. The souvlaki are freshly cooked and they are very big pieces which I didn't get that from anywhere else I have tried. This place is very popular with the locals and the business have been going on for generations. I totally recommend this place if you happen to be near the museum as it has got plenty parking space too. Also inside of the kiosk is the history of the place from newspaper and magazine clippings how the place was founded, which it makes a great read while waiting for your kebab...

5 Stars! Definitely one of my best food experiences here in Cyprus. I came for the good reviews (check what others say!) and have not been disappointed. The meat was juicy and cooked to the point with this great charcoal flavour on top. Service was great, as is usually the case for street food places like this. Yet, having had a chance to chat with other customers (locals!) confirmed that this one is even here slightly ahead of what is already great in itself: Cypriot hospitality! Thanks. Will come again when possible. :)

I was on my way to a widely known chain but am always keeping my eyes open for something local and special. This place? The aromas got to me before I spotted it by sight. The focus on great souvlaki, the plentiful choice meat grilled to perfection and piled into the bread with loads of tomato, cucumber and onion with a generous container of sauce that tastes homemade.

And the people behind the grill and out at the tables are as helpful and warm and can be. They've figured it out, and no wonder the place was busy even now in the off season on a cool...
