The Tudor Inn Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Larnaca

Oh wow!! We have lived here since 2009 and have never been inside until Saturday(16 Dec.2017), and what a lovely place it is. It is owned by our friend Wendy but run by Andrea and her husband. The hospitality is first class with friendly, polite staff. We did not eat there but we did look at the menu which was reasonable in price. We noticed the food brought out to other customers whose portions were generous and looked appetising. We drunk glasses of Commandaria which was accompanied by Carrot bayonets and bowls of popcorn!!! The toilets were on the ground floor so were handy for my disabled husband who normally has to climb the stairs in so many Cypriot pubs and restaurants. They were modern and very clean and smelled nice(10/10)!! There was a roaring log fire to keep us warm and a secluded romantic terraced garden with twinkly lights. Just PERFECT •Amazing food at very reasonable prices. Personally had one of the best burgers of my life in terms of quality and quantity (BBQ Burger including chips) at €9.5. The rest of the menu prices are anywhere from €5 all the way up to €25 (for platters). •Fantastic Atmosphere. Low lit overall with candles all along giving it a romantic and genuinely chill atmosphere ideal for a date or even an night out with a friend. There's also Jazz music in the background which although not personally a fan of it, it was soothing and relaxing. •Friendly staff. Everyone was polite and positive and we even joked and laughed with some of them.

Overall, as a local, i would recommend it to everyone who wants to have good time and food at relatively cheap price.

Very disappointed !!! Unfortunately after many visits over the past two years and where we saw a steady decline in the service, availability of items and also random closures of the place ... this time our food was undescribably bad. The prices have gone up 2-3 eur, the burger selection is down to two, portions are smaller than small and quality is ....just not there! We were served a 200g pork chop (used to be 600g) which was burned and shrunk to a chewy texture that didn't taste like meat. Very unfortunate and for sure we won't be going back. Is a pitty. Used to be a nice place with ok ish food. Now it cannot compete at any...
