Nestled in the heart of Mackenzie Beach (Cyprus), Food Park City offers a decent culinary experience at a remarkably good price point. During our recent lunch visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the affordability, especially evident in the well-priced kids' menu.

The self-service setup, while not the most convenient for parents juggling youngsters, proved manageable. Ordering at the till and collecting our food ourselves was a minor inconvenience, offset by the tranquility of the environment. This is a great place to spend time with your children. They have both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, which kept my daughter and my son entertained and happy throughout the visit.

That said, the food left a lot to be desired. My daughter had the Spaghetti Pomodoro, and my son had the nuggets. It took nearly 45 minutes for the food to be ready, though it was a busy Friday, so the wait was somewhat expected. You place your order at the cashier and collect it yourself once it’s ready, they give you a buzzer to notify you.

Unfortunately, the fries were soft and lacked crispiness, and the spaghetti was bland and not well seasoned, I tried it before giving it to my daughter. The food overall wasn’t anything special, and considering the location, it did feel slightly overpriced.

The staff at the bar were very friendly and welcoming.

This has to be the worst meal i have ever had in a tourist area in Cyprus, the food was inedible at best, the burger had a strange odour and was soggy, the corn on the cob was horrible the coleslaw warm and the frozen oven chips overcooked and cold, the other of my dining companions were unable to eat what was put in front of them, under normal circumstances I would have asked for the manager and made an official objective critique of the food in order for them to perhaps improve but I felt at the time it would have been pointless and served no purpose, if they really cared then they wouldn’t be serving food of this poor standard.
