We called the restaurant on Friday the 2nd of June, to reserve for Sunday 4th of June . The girl there, while she was talking to my wife on the phone, suddenly started talking to people there, eventually forgot she was talking on the phone, so we had to hang up the phone (as she was not responding to the phone), without knowing if our reservation was made (we wanted to sit outside on the wooden deck). Called again no answer, so we called the next day to confirm our reservation. No reservation was made so we asked again. She told us there was no room outside, so we had to sit inside. We said ok and asked for a table for 8 people.

Arrived at 12 o'clock on Sunday (our reservation was for 11:30) running late because we had a small baby with us and we came from Nicosia (any parent will understand why we were late). She pointed to our reservation, which was a huge table on the back of the restaurant. We told her we don't need all that room because we are only 8 people and she said I reserved for 18 (showing that she did not pay attention to our telephone conversation FOR THE SECOND TIME AT ALL). We told her ok we don't need all that space and asked if we could sit outside or inside closer to the open space. She said all tables were reserved and I cannot sit you somewhere else. We said ok again and sat in our designated table. All the "reserved" tables in both the inside and outside space were empty until 13:30 pm. (1:30 hours after we arrived!!!!). Couldn't she actually put us to seat somewhere better ??? We were customers that were actually there at the time!!!!! What time did the other tables reserved for and were they late or not??? For me this was unacceptable. We could actually sit wherever we wanted, eat and leave and the "reservations" would not even arrive yet!!!

The food portions were ridiculous, in relation to the price. 16 euros almost for a pork chop (small one), with literally two pieces of steamed vegetables and a few fries. Paid 10 euros for a long island ice tea, which the waiter spilled a bit later on and did not even bother to bring me another one.

And to top it all off, NO wheelchair access that I could find, so I had to carry my baby's stroller with a friend up their stairs!!!

Paid full amount (no tips of course) and never...

Tl;dr if you’re in the area, go to Rebuke next door. Exactly the same aesthetic, immeasurably better quality

I went here with my mother for lunch on a quiet day (there are 3 tables with clients besides us), as she had been wanting to go since seeing it 3 years ago but usually goes to the beach alone and wanted company.

We ordered the goats cheese salad, avocado burrata salad and the iberico portk tacos. And 2 hugo spritzes

The salads arrived (my burrata salad only had a third or quarter of a burrata drizzled on top, not the whole you usually expect when you order a burrata salad) and my mum had ordered and forgotten to ask for no olive powder in mine (I’m intolerant) and we apologised and asked to change it, which they very kindly did (had they been whole i can just take out but powder all over the salad obviously not). They brought my avocado burrata salad back, with probably another part of the same burrata. Interestingly, my “avocado burrata” salad had no avocado to be found either. For €14.50, it seemed strange to receive a drizzle of burrata on a bit of rocket.. anyway i didnt want to say anything but my mum did so i got a third salad with the rest of the same cheese hahaha Her goats cheese salad was equally odd, but had added ingredients instead of missing. It had soggy lettuce on top of the rocket, and soggy clumps of a random grated cheese that wasnt listed alongside the goats cheese.

Lastly, the iberico tacos arrived, but instead they had brought us a pork chop.. which neither of us had wanted or even knew was on the menu. Apparently the waiter got confused because they had two iberico pork dishes. We sent it back and asked to cancel the tacos, but he brought them anyway. Needless to say, the tacos were very sad and flavourless too but at least by this point we were expecting that to be the case.

Just a few days prior, we ordered a bigger lunch at Rebuke literally next door. It has almost identical decor, except the food was a much higher standard and quality than you would expect from a beachfront restaurant. Was the ceviche authentic peruvian? No. Was it delicious? Yes. Was the service great? Also yes. Portion sizes were appropriate for the prices...

I would like to share an experience I had at Lush today with the hope the owner reads this and have a word with the staff. During our coffee today around 11 we dropped one of our AirPods and realized it 15 minutes later. The bar was almost empty at that time! When we came back following the Apple iPhone tracking system we saw that our device was around lush area. We asked the staff and the new customers sitting in our table if anyone had seen the AirPod.

We also asked at the bar if any of the staff had found it while cleaning the table or if anyone had handed it in. No one had seen it! The waiter was curious if I could see the exact spot online and if I could track it accurately and after that he tried to suggest that maybe I lost it somewhere else. I told him that it is accurate up to a couple of meters and I can play a sound once I get signal. 3 of my friends searched around lush and everyone could see us upset. We also went to look a bit outside the area and 5 minutes later when we returned we found the AirPod on the reception stand.

This means that someone had it all along and once they saw we were persistent they placed it there. I do not want to accuse anyone but no one Just leaves a lost item there. They either give it to a waiter or at the bar. Without pointing a figure I want to emphasize how immoral it is for anyone finding a lost item keeping it even when the owner is searching for it. Also customers visiting a high end bar restaurant should be able to trust the staff and management of an establishment without the fear of being robbed. I repeat it was a quiet day at the bar with few customers and staff was not very busy at that moment. Management should emphasize the importance of trust and honesty to the...

If you want a terrible family service experience - you're welcome here 😡 We booked a sunbed sofa near the beach with a €100 deposit. We spent a few hours there, ordering food and drinks while enjoying the beach with our two families. We brought some drinks for the kids (since they have special preferences) and a few board games to keep them entertained. When the waiter noticed that the kids were drinking something we brought, he informed us that outside drinks were not allowed and asked to take our cooler bag. We agreed and handed it over. About 30 minutes later, he noticed the kids playing board games and approached us again, asking us to stop. We were surprised but complied and put the games away. Then, just five minutes later, the waiter returned and shocked us by asking us to pay and leave because we had "disrespected the restaurant's rules" (though he was polite about it). He insisted we pay the full €100 even though we had only used €60. We requested to speak with the manager, and that's when the real trouble started. A very angry man rushed over, shouting and accusing us of disrespecting his €4 million investment by bringing our own drinks and board games. He claimed to be the owner of the place. He ignored our explanations that we hadn't used the full deposit, that we were using the sunbed sofa (not dining inside), and that we were just catering to our kids' needs. He even threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay the full amount, all while continuously blaming and shaming us. At that point, we realized it was pointless to argue, so we paid and left for good. I highly recommend avoiding this place, especially if you're with family.

I visited yesterday, and I have to say, the location is absolutely stunning, with so much potential. The setting is perfect, and the food quality is top-notch, with delicious cocktails that really hit the mark. However, the service left a lot to be desired. It was painfully slow and disorganised. The staff seemed to be running around, but there was no clear system in place. It almost felt like they were “headless chickens” trying to serve everyone but no one at the same time. We placed our drink order, only to watch the waiter stand on the other side doing nothing while the staff bar had no orders to fulfill. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, my husband had to walk up to the bar himself to reorder the drinks. When the food finally arrived, the wait was long, and while the steak presentation was impressive with a nice “theatrical” touch at the table, the whole process was slow and the steak itself ended up lukewarm by the time it made it to our plates. We also ordered French fries, which were forgotten and only arrived after we asked three times, right when we were nearly finished with our meal. All in all, it’s a real shame because the food and cocktails are fantastic, and the beachside atmosphere is one of a kind. But the poor service definitely dragged down the experience. I really hope they work on this, as it could be a truly amazing spot with a bit of improvement in the service department.
