My Personal Experience: I discovered Rebuke Lounge by pure chance in July 2024 while strolling along Mackenzie Beach. What started as a spontaneous stop turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had. The menu was diverse, but the risotto and calamari stole the show. The risotto was an absolute masterpiece—creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned, with every bite delivering a burst of flavor that lingered on the palate. The calamari, lightly battered and fried to golden perfection, was tender and paired with a tangy dipping sauce that elevated its fresh, oceanic taste. The presentation of both dishes was impeccable, reflecting the care and skill of the kitchen. The service was prompt and professional, with staff offering thoughtful recommendations. Food makes a meal great, hospitality makes a meal memorable!

We had an hour, tops, to seat eight, five adults and three children! Stressful to day the least! What proceeded however, was dome of the most accomodating and considerate hospitality I have received

Our server, was firstly welcoming, making our limited time feel irrelevant to the experience he wanted to provide for us. He secondly insisted the children's food arrived as soon as possible, and then proceeded to interact with genuine affection and care to each child. He then served our food in the order it was taken with skill and grace, serving to each person their items, interacting and asking questions. And when he left, it was in a manner that was respectful, and with a theatre which added to the joy he had made.

At this point, the food, although truly Delicious, was irrelevant. What lasted, was the feeling of care and hospitality that we had received! Despite the initial rushing around which led to us arriving st this restaurant, I felt calm, and full of joy, because our server had taken the time make sure I would feel this way.

My Niece had her 18th Birthday on Friday there, which was ruined by a rude, condescending, immature most unfriendly waitress that was unable to light up a birthday cake! A surprise cake which was meant to be let up and surprised her for her 18th was ruined by the waitress asking the birthday girl if she wants the cake, then only let up one candle because she couldn’t light up the rest after trying for 10mins then bringing the cake and shoving it in her face and giving her the lighter and telling the birthday girl to light up and burn her hand with the hot lighter the rest herself! What was meant to be a memorable moment got ruined by someone who clearly doesn’t understand how to provide an experience let down the business she represents and and it will most definitely not be recommended to anyone else to have any sort of event there! In comparison there was another birthday there on the same evening which received a birthday song, birthday msg, all candles lit , plates and everything was done correctly which was the complete opposite of what we received!
