The Enigma Restobar — Restaurant in Larnaca

Very nice place and GREAT staff. Great food at a reasonable price. For starters we got chicken dumplings and mini baguettes, both very nice especially the dumplings with a delicious sauce. For main, we got the Chicken Diane (amazing) and bolognaise which was also very good with pasta al dente. Their drinks are AMAZING especially the signature ones. My boyfriend and I ate food, had drinks and wine, and afterwards a shisha. They let us stay after closing time to smoke sisha outside in the lounge, very sweet and thoughtful. The shisha was very fresh and crisp, very nice quality. Overall, a very good dining experience and I would definitely come back if I ever visit Larnaca again. Recommended!

Only thing little thing to say about the place is that people sometimes come from the hotel (that the restaurant is a part of) and that ruins the dinner vibe a little bit (with people passing trough from time to time).

Other than that - perfect place with a nice, chill and lounge atmosphere with great, happy staff who is very competent and a bit cheeky...

In 2 weeks in Cyprus, this was the best food we had anywhere. Granted, it was twice as expensive as anywhere else, too. Both lamb (25€) and seafood risotto (19€) were delicious. Excellent chocolate dessert (7€) too. They have an excellent modern twist on traditional Cyprus dishes. Decent wine list at ok prices (approx. 100% markup from regular prices). Professional service as well.

Two negative items, I hope management reads and corrects them: The red wine was served around 20-22 degrees, way too warm. It should be 14-18 depending on the wine. This must not happen in a place like this. Additionally, please enforce some kind of dress code. Other guests sporting shorts and flip-flops... it just seems unnecessary and ruins the atmosphere.

Overall it was simply too good to rate with anything less...
