I decided to write this review because I have visited this place on and off over the years with good to horrible experiences. Quality has deteriorated over the years. Food quantity and quality greatly dimished.
The management is rude to the personel and you can hear yelling. Personel is rotated every few months. Tables are rarely cleaned unless you ask them to wipe them down. The waiters don't know what the are doing. Food arrives late and they get the orders wrong. For example we ordered some extra bread and after we finished an hour or so after ordering, they brought the bill and asked "do you still want the extra bread?".
Facilities are poorly maintained. They also did a bathroom renovation and it looks like they picked the cheapest material that looks kinda good but the installation is horrendous. Looks like it was done from someone who never did another job. In general it looks like they hire the cheapest people they can find and they change them all the time. A lot of corner cutting yet their prices are extremely high for the quality.
Food is mediocre but served as something really expensive. We had the Cypriot English breakfast and they brought us a quarter of a sausage, 4 olives, half small baked tomato, 2 eggs and one slice of halloumi halved in 2. And 2 small pieces of bread. Oh and a thin slice of cucumber. It acts like a Michellin french restaurant but the quality is the same as the food you can get from any discounted venue.
It's a "brewery" yet their beer is horrible and served in a half pint glass but charged as full pint. Also a few friends tried their draft laggers and it gives us headaches. Doubt they ever cleaned it since the taste is different and kind weird.
This was the last time. I do give places second chances but this place is...
Read moreout of season, not more than 7 people seated, we ordered two coffees and one pancake around 9:40 from a waitress. 5 minutes later a guy brought us two juices one coffee and a one big lemonade, we told thats not what we ordered, he said that its on the house. I started drinking the orange juice and two minutes later the waitress came and said this is not meant for us and she almost toke the glass I already did drink from. I said I will pay for the juice and wait for my coffee and pancake. 30 minutes after that there still no pancake and we call the waitress and ask about it. Her response was are we on a hurry and that it takes time to prepare. It was around 10:50 when we still got no pancake and the people who were seated 10min after us got there full order (pancakes and other food) At this point we decide that one hour was enough to wait for one portion of pancake. Spoke with the team leader and explained the situation and the fact that we no longer want to wait for pancake and want to pay what we had and leave. The waitress came and she started to ask why we want to leave and make us feel very bad as if it was our fold and it turned out that she didn't order the pancake until the second we asked about them. We left paying for coffees and juice that was not even meant for us felling very disappointed, definitely not...
Read moreMenu has a large selection, I'm sure everyone would find something however the prices are expensive, especially the drink prices. But it was our choice to stay once we saw the prices. My biggest concern was the lack of masks either not worn by staff or improperly worn. Lots of the staff had their masks worn around their chins. Saw one wait staff carrying a tray of drinks, unmasked, and coughed very near the drinks he was carrying. I did speak with the manager and she thanked me for my comments and said she would address this issue, however she was also one of the ones I noticed was wearing her mask below her nose. I know for some this wouldn't be an issue but we had just arrive in Cyprus the day before and in order to come to Cyprus we had to have a negative PCR test (nose swab, cost 60 Euros), we arrived in Cyprus where we need to take another PCR test at the airport (nose & throat swap, cost 15 Euros). With all the precautions coming into Cyprus the lack of proper masking was unacceptable at this restaurant. I ordered the tune poki bowl, tuna tasted a bit fishy didn't really think much of it until the middle of the night....was vomiting and had diarrhea. Fortunately the food poisoning was not too severe and was feeling better by late morning. All in all not a positive experience. For sure...
