Vivid Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Larnaca

Saturday night and I went out in down town for a nice drink and little dish. This restaurant has an inviting interior and the service is working ambitiously.

But then starts the mess: One third of the menu is valid only until 13:00, (it remainded me straight about the movie with Michael Douglas! Indeed, waiters got afraid, when I mentioned about the movie ;-)). Many items in the menu are indicated as "not available". Finally I decided for a "Deli Sandwich" for 12,50 EUR, but this was again not available. So I staid with a glas of average Merlot, served once more in a strange volume of 187 gr. ;-(

Very food atmosphere and great staff! Passing by we noticed a great looking croissant on the table and as it turned out they were tasting it for the new breakfast offer and didn’t have on menu yet. We weren’t disappointed as they had other delicious offers and ordered a lemon cake, but as we liked the croissant, in 10 minutes the waitress brought it to us as a compliment from the boss. It really made our day! But the best was yet to come! Recently dined at Vivid Kitchen & Bar and had a mixed experience. The food, though not perfect, offered good value for money. The personnel’s service was a bit sluggish, especially considering the restaurant was only half full. A standout was a male waiter who provided excellent and prompt service. However, the experience took an unexpected turn when a waitress accidentally threw an ashtray on my jacket while placing plates on our table.
