Have had 3 previous excellent dinning experiences. Unfortunately, our fourth visit requires letting the management know of our poor disappointing service.
Group of 5 wanted to sit and eat together, waiter offered us two small round tables in the middle of the pavement, we asked politely if we could have two square tables by the shop front as we were early and there was several tables empty. Waiter got moody and only put together a square and round table together, completely impractical for seating 5 to eat and drink. Same waiter then was heard complaining to a colleague.
We kept looking over for some waiter to bring menus, he kept walking past and avoiding eye contact.
We then have to wait over 10 mins for another waiter to bring over menus as our original waiter ignored us, very unprofessional. Nice waitress finally took our orders, as we had a pregnant member of our family who is intolerant to mayonnaise we asked for no mayo in the chicken burger, we were told no mayo would come in the burger and that all sauces come in sachets.
Chicken burger arrives with mayo, we called over another waiter and explained , instead of apologising and rectifying, he said I have to ask my manger? Finally burger was taken away and we were told another would be prepared, of course the rest of us continued our meal. After 20 mins we enquired how much longer it’ll take.
Another 2 mins was the reply, another 15 mins, we had all finished our burgers by this time. Again we enquired, it’s just coming was the reply , finally after another 25 mins the chicken burger arrived .
Having to wait an hour for a order to be corrected is very poor by any standards, I hope that the manager can pass on our disappointing service to their waiting staff to avoid others experiencing such poor...
Read moreVery chic and trendy cafe close to the Turkish checkpoint on the North side of Ledra Street. Very tastefully designed and catches the eye from the street. Stopped by for a couple of drinks as it was definitely the nicest looking spot on that side of Ledra street. The have upstairs seating to which seemed really cool. Prices very reasonable too, paid €4 for a pint of draught efes beer and a glass of wine. Drinks were served with an assortment of cocktail nuts and dried fruit. Definitely worth a stop if in the area. Just as a note all my credit cards (american issued) did not work, I don't know if this was to do with the fact that the cafe was in occupied territory. All the cards worked fine before and after, everywhere...
Read moreA little bar/restaurant tucked away on a busy shopping street. The waitress was very warm and attentive, although her English was limited (enough to get by). We had yummy burgers (although a little pricier than we expected). Overall a great experience and we are glad to have stopped. We even got a free Turkish coffee at the end which was smooth and not...
