Sedirhan Cafe — Restaurant in Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi

When surrounded by so much history of the Μεγάλο Χάνι, Sedirhan Cafe was an amazing place to grab breakfast.

Though it was borderline hot temperatures, the restaurant is covered with also fans circulating the air to help keep you cool; so cool, even the cats were happy to lie around and watch us eat! 😺

As for the food, it was the best breakfast I'd had in north Cyprus, typical of Turkish Cypriot cuisine with extremely fresh produce used; I loved the olives and fresh lemonade. The eggs had great texture and flavour in our omelette, with halloumi and feta cheeses having so much texture and flavour; with the freshly baked breads helping to fill us up.

We love this place, actually we are coming here during the last 4 years. We love everything here. Turkish tea, burekia and the rest food is very tasty. And fresh. Actually burekia pies are freshly made on site. You can observe the whole process from the ball of dough till delicious and sizzling pies are served at your table. We had a nice lunch at he Sedirhan Cafe. Ordered 2 meat dishes, stewed lamb and dolma (stuffed grape leaves). Big portions! terrible quality food, meat was stale and bland and fries tasted like old oil. the service was even worse . the so called "waiter" touched our napkins with dirty hands and even though i havent finished eating he placed the bill (wait for it) ON TOP OF MY UNFINISHED MEAL! totally ridiculous experience that left me dumbfounded. please avoid the sedirhan like the plague. the only good thing about it is the localization - its located within the wonderful old buyuk han. tl dr - would not recommend it to...
